I go to Vegas usually every 3 months. Now I drive but when I use to fly I would take allegiant out of lbc I don't they service there anymore and the last time I flew I did southwest.

I would go in the morning it was less traffic and reach there in the afternoon

For hotels I would usually stay at Caesars palace in the Augustus tower. If in lucky they would upgrade me to the Octavious tower

For food. I enjoy the wicked spoon in the cosmopolitan. It's great all around food lots of selection and the atmosphere is chill.

For Los I would usually stay about 2 nights. No more than that. And for a strip club i would go to sapphire or crazy horse. They let you smoke hookah the girls are nice. Some of them if you pay them enough will go back to your hotel room later and stay the night with you.

I hope you Have fun cmb.

I went a couple of times this summer but I'm not going anytime soon, I just wanted to see what other people do. Why am I not surprised that you shell out for strip club hookers? Live it up, dude.

well the thing is when I go to Vegas i take a girl with me and usually she's into strip clubs and other females. So I guess that's why it's easier to take the stripper back to the hotel. Lol.

I usually drive late Thursday night so that I have 2 full days there, and then leave midday Sunday. Thursday nights are always cheap anyway so I'll she'll out for an extra night.

I've stayed at about 10 different hotels. really just depends on how I'm feeling and who has decent rates at the time. if I'm being really cheap, I'll stay at hooters since it's so close to the strip without actually being on it.

I always go with my girlfriend so we don't really do clubs. if we're there with a group of friends, we usually end up at a few. otherwise, we just do a lot of walking around with drinks in hand, hanging out, and I'll play the tables for a few hours. sometimes we'll catch a show. cirque du solei's are obviously really good. I'd recommend Absinthe in Ceasars palace, though. awesome show.

if I had to choose one place to eat, I'd recommend Texas de Brazil. I still think about all those meats, no hoemoe

When I have the opportunity I like to stay mid-week since room rates are typically low, often comped with table rewards. I tend to stay in the Caesars chain because of either the comps or the significant discount, not to mention the center-strip location. Caesars rates are the highest, so if I can't stay there I have no problem with Planet Hollywood-Paris-Flamingo-Ballys, in that order. One convention week I stayed at Harrah's because it was the only one of the lot under $100/night before resort fees, and it was fine. I'd choose Harrah's again anytime but my companions usually demand something one step up in scale. Best and newest I've done was Wynn, and it was fantastic. I've yet to try the new city center hotels...how are they? The worst place I've used was, surprisingly, Excalibur. Sheets of burlap, housekeeping doesn't answer the phone, and when they do, calls are seemingly outsourced to a nation whose general disposition is what one would have after reading through ringfinger's LG post history. Excalibur is bull (bleep), (bleep) that place.

Buffets:
1.) Aria - tried this for the first time this summer. Variety is outstanding. Overall quality of ingredients is great, and the entry fee won't bankrupt you like the Wynn. The carving station has 8 or 9 different meats
2.) Wynn
3.) Bacchanal - tried this recently, too. Quality is above average and there are several custom short-order stations.
4.) Bellagio - great, big parmesan flakes
5.) M

I prefer to drive . I've flown only once and found it to be the least fun, probably because a great portion of the appeal of Vegas has always been, for me, anyway, the impulsive, shotgun nature of cramming into a car or a van at the whim of the group and and enjoying the precious 8-9 hours of seclusion, along with a sense of retreat with friends. And perhaps I enjoy this element more so than actually being in Vegas where, beginning with the 20 or so minutes before the first time we all take the elevator downstairs, everyone falls into drink and the trip morphs into a cyclical, zany free-for-all with a bunch of inebriates. A blast, no doubt, but synthetic, somehow. Another benefit to driving is the liberty to go off strip for the miscellaneous, things like liquor or clothing, wihout having to arrange or suffer the gouge. Anyways, it's like this: leave in the evening around dusk. Depending on the size of the group we'll roll in a caravan or rent a small transport vehicle that can fit us all. Stop at barstow to pee and pig out, maybe pull off somewhere in the quiet, pitch black heart of the Mojave to void again one last time. Descend into Primm Valley close to midnight. As soon as the lights of State Line are sighted, there is a raucous, boisterous occasion in the car. If it's daytime, we'll stop at Buffalo Bill's where some of the party blazes up and rides Desperado. Arrive in Vegas at 1am, clean up in the room and dress up, do 3 rounds of shots. A birthday celebrant will do 5 shots. Then we make for a club where someone's promoter friend will comp us well-past the guest list entry window, where we can catch the tail-end of the night, dance, drink AMFs and make ourselves fools, again and again. Usually, the group acts as a collective wingman for the dwindling number singles among us looking to get lucky. Walk to breakfast afterwards, and during this time, shenanigans are immortalized on Las Vegas Blvd. Strangers are recruited for merriment or flirting. Then, bloody marys in someone's room to come down slowly. Sleep for 4 hours. Wake up, coordinate, congregate at the pool where everyone sweats and pisses out their hangovers. Fancy an hour or so of this, and then it's strip time. Craps for me. I am not James Bond so I try to stick to $5 tables even if it requires that I prospect for one in some of the not-so-ritzy joints, which I prefer anyway. O'Sheas, for instance. Fire bet everytime. On the come out I do $5 on the pass line with a $2 crap check. Once point is set, $1 on all the hard ways. If 6 or 8 I'll do max odds, minimum on 5 and 6 or 8, minimum on the field, for every roll. Once I'm up or down $200, I'm finished playing. I'd rather lose $200 at a loud table full of ornery, character types than win at a table featuring only myself, an old Chinese couple who bets on don't pass everytime but won't touch the dice, and a mute Finnish guy. Buffet's next. After 5 plates of steamed crab legs, it's back up to the room for showers and some meditation before repeating the previous night's hazing. If with group, repeat last night starting with shots. If with girlfriend, extend the room event until time for show, club, or a yet another nap. Book the extra night so that we can wake up and leave at whatever time as opposed to checking out and driving back under the oppression of the sun, all (bleep) up and tired.

No particular airline. 3 nights MAX. Either stay in Caesars or Wynn now. Play some baccarat and blackjack. Shoot some guns.

I am a Laughlin guy, it is slower and more low brow than Vegas and that fits my style. Plus I have the choice of a casino or the river. My family usually goes for a week and spends the days on the river and the nights in the casino.

I've done the same. Great times over there.

As for Vegas, I go every few months. There is no particular routine we do when we go out there. Sometimes visit family, but when we're there to spend dough, we've stayed all over the place.

I've only stayed in 2 bad hotels there. Luxor pyramid had terrible air conditioning, and the Hooters hotel was by far the worst I've ever experienced. Over $100 for room service that tasted like microwaved buffet food, and the bed was horribly uncomfortable.

Caesars, Bellagio, Wynn and the Cosmopolitan are all great on the strip. Off the strip, South Point and Hard Rock are awesome. Then Fremont St. has The D and Plaza hotels that are both very good. Plus they have the zip line there, outdoor bars, live bands, good restaurants, strip club and a brewery. Oh and they have a great hobby/collectible shop if you're in to that stuff.

I'm not a big gambler outside of some sports bets here and there. Whenever we go, whatever we're doing we always have a blast. Just not at Hooters.

Everytime I go to Vegas I eat at Grimaldi's which is a great pizza place. They have them all over the city now. The original one is in Brooklyn. I used to go to Tacos El Gordo but their location on the strip closed down. If you feel adventurous and have a car the pastor tacos are delicious. As someone mentioned earlier if you want steak then go to Texas De Brazil. It's like Fogo De Chau except less expensive and better. Don't waste your money in any casino steakhouse they are a total ripoff. If you like Thai food then go to Lotus of Siam which is off the strip. You'll need to make a reservation though.

Not sure where you're located but they opened up a Grimaldi's in El Segundo a few years back. Quality is right up there with the original, imo.

The old O'Shea's had a pizza place called "Mama's" in the back right next to their BK and Subway. It wasn't swanky, likely low-grade dough, but I'll be damned if it wasn't my favorite in the city. I don't know what they did to that crust. It was thick and perfectly crunchy and damned satisfying.

Probably my favorite pizza now is secret pizza @ Cosmo...the hour line is a definite turn off.

Used to be more low-key when it was Imperial Palace. Now that you don't have to look at roaches and pulled up carpet on the way to get to it, it's a hot spot.

Flew there once, it was "meh"

For me, a lot of the fun of a Vegas trip is the drive. Feels like you "earned" the debauchery you are about to partake in. If it's a trip with the wife, we usually leave after I get out of work. I'll usually take a half-day and we are on the road by 2. We try to drive straight thru. Check-in and get the room situated. Then we'll have dinner and gamble for a bit.

The next day we'll eat, drink, shop and gamble. Then head home the next morning. We don't hit any clubs or anything, food and drinks are our thing. We have made it a habit lately to get drinks while lounging with the 90 year olds at the Keno lounge area. You spend a couple bucks for a few games but you can get like 4-6 drinks within half hour.

If it's a trip with the guys, I usually don't remember what happens about 2 hours into the drive. I have been told I make a fool of myself, gamble stupidly and drink like a maniac. I don't remember any of it tho, so I cant be certain.

Been staying at the Silverton. I get awesome rates and 2 for 1 deals on lunch/dinner. Their buffet is pretty good and they have all you can drink mimosas of varying flavors. The only drink my wife really likes.

We usually stay one night at the Silverton and one night somewhere else. lately its been the Plaza on Fremont st. It's at the end of the walk and it's pretty damn nice. They have dealers at the tables who wear bikinis and gogo dancers in the pit. (FEMALE) We also make sure to hit this Chicago Brewery inside the 4 queens. They have a kickass beer carousel sampler of like 12 different brews for like 8 bucks, I get it everytime.

I play the machines with my wife a lot more than I used to. I don't hit the tables as much when I'm with her. If it's with the guys , it's roulette and blackjack.

Damn, now I got that Vegas itch.

Oh, man. Vegas. Haven't been there in a while, but have fond memories of it. I haven't stayed in that many nice hotels, but I have stayed in the Venetian and Bellagio, and hold the Venetian as my favorite hotel of all time. The rooms, hallways, lobby, etc. are just flat out gorgeous. I remember going to Delmonico Steakhouse there (I believe Emeril owns it). Had delicious gumbo and chateau brion.

Venetian aside, I love the Buffet's in Las Vegas, and am surprised so few have mentioned them here. Favorites are Bellagio's, Rio's, and actually Caesar's Palace's. I found the one at Caesars the have a little less variety, but the dishes were more specialized and interesting. I also remember eating at this casino called "Terribles." Food was pretty good, and the prices were stupid cheap...I guess they wanted to drive traffic to the casino, or something.

Good times.
