i think this is what its all about. since the LMA mess, lakers have made a point to be transparent and have decided more to share their vision |

^^I don't want the FO to be more transparent. 
I always liked the secretive aura Mitch had.
But the silver lining is: maybe this prevents Jeanie from speaking about the basketball side of things.
The past few seasons, questions and worries from the fans (and probably sponsors) build up. Then Jeanie feels its her responsibility to be the face of the franchise and answer the tough questions. Whether they are business or basketball related.

| Really hope it's not about laying out the FO's vision/plan for the future. I really think it hinders a GM's ability to make deals when the goals of the team are public knowledge. Allows other GM's to take advantage of them. Would much rather have other FO's confused/overconfident when dealing with our FO. |
