Honest question, who should Kobe emulate in his 20th season?

Last year he said he'd been watching how Pierce was able to remain effective

I knew someone would ask that.

Is Nance really going to be that much of an outside shooter?

I think he needs to get significantly better in that area to stick.

Well, MJ in 1998:

82 games played, 39 mpg, 29/6/4. Not sure we want Kobe trying to play like that. Those are prime-Kobe numbers basically.

Would be awesome if he could be like Harrison. Barnes can shoot outside and Nance isn't there yet.

I agree, and it's a long-shot to expect him to shoot from outside like Bowen.

Thanks 22.

Yinoma - Exactly. That's the major area to improve. Get into the vicinity of 38% from 3pt land and bulk up a little. Lets Nance play SF in a big lineup and a small ball PF.

Disagree on DLO, his style mirrors Magic's. Great passing, uses his length, great rebounder, and good shooter. Nash is smaller so DLO couldn't learn from Nash about utilizing his length and height.

Hardaway pales in comparison to Magic, specially the passing, DLO can be in Magic's league in that regard.

If DLO can develop that little hook shot...he can also learn to post up, like Magic

I like the Kemp to nance comparison. Was going to post that one earlier myself.

Another one I forgot to mention which actually might help with the lack of clarkson comparison is john wall.

Gordon Hayward. Though it'd help if he was in a similar offense.

I'd love for Upshaw to model his offensive game after Sheed (minus the 3pt chucking). He has nice touch on his jumper and a high release point. If he can master that unstoppable baseline turnaround that Sheed had he'll be set.
