If anything, I hope Kobe retires a Laker and doesn't pull an MJ. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I don't buy it. I think Kobe will retire a Laker just like West and Magic. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

I want Kobe to win another ring.
Tired of people implying Duncan's career is equal or greater than Kobe's.
Another chip should put alot of that to rest. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

*sigh* Phil.
Unfortunately I see Phil on the path of tainting his legacy. Much in the same way people love Jordan the player but mock Jordan the owner. Phil the executive just says and does dumb things |

I can definitely see Kobe doing a "retirement tour" in Europe. Italy or Spain probably. I bet he'd love to play for Barcelona. |

No. NOPE. Naw. Nah......
I feel like we struggled these last few years, overpaying him, mainly to say "thanks...we'll give you the extra money you deserve, and you can retire as a Laker." If he wasn't planning to retire here, we could have basically traded him at some point to speed up our rebuilding.
I'm not with it. He HAS TO retire here, just like Magic and Jerry West. And like Bird did, like Duncan will do. Oh, and like Jordan should have. |

If Kobe plays beyond this year it will be Hello NY. PJ I believe is spot on.
Buss says Kobe Bryant has to know his role with Lakers beyond this season
By Matt Moore | NBA writer
Buss should keep his mouth shut, making statements like above shows his ignorance. _________________ .....

The core on the Lakers is better than what they've got on the Knicks....
Kobe nearing 40+Melo who is already on the downside of his career won't make it far in the east. |

Gotta say it would be amusing to see all the people who always decry "ring chasers" flip around to make excuses for Kobe doing it. I don't think he will though. |

Can't happen. Won't happen. Kobe's a Laker for life first and foremost. |

Kobe will go into the business world and try to become uber rich like Magic and Mike.....I don't think he will waste whats left of his body to a sorry team like the Knicks. If you listen to him in interviews he sounds content with what he's accomplished even though he didn't match MJ's 6 titles. |
