If we get the Young from two seasons ago that would be great.

Ya that Swaggy and Lou would make for a very high scoring bench

With Lou Williams breathing down his neck and Metta there Nick is going to have to put up or shut up.

Russell is still slow footed in his interviews, while Okafor is tearing it up in Philly. What a bust guise.

Who was the guy Byron was talking about that has shown additional speed and explosiveness during these weeks of workouts that he didn't in Summer League cause he was dealing with pains?

Byron mentioned someone, I missed the name though.

I'm glad to hear that it was Russell that has been showing explosiveness and speed Byron wasn't seeing before. He has sneaky athleticism anyway. What was the problems he was dealing with? his legs?

I'm really excited for this team and the future. It is very refreshing to hear about the work ethic that the young guys have. I really like the mix of players that we have, I know were not a championship team, but I do believe we can make a run at the playoffs. Hopefully we can stay healthy!!!

Ankle and (I believe) knee issues.

Ah.. that would explain a lot. He had that knee issue near the end of his college season as well. I believe the last 3 or 4 games. Or leg issue, which slowed him down a little. So understandable. I'm glad he's good right now though after getting treatment And I want him to remain that way

One thing I learnt for the day.

DRuss will play injured.

Okafor wouldn't do that.

Lakers made the right choice. Time will only tell down the road 3-4 years but I think Lakers front office were right on money picking Russell over Okafor.
