Trade Lamar, Walton and Miami's #1 to Boston for Paul Pierce. Move Kobe to small forward. Pierce is a good rebounder and would take pressure off of Kobe. Odom is a East Coast guy and Boston would love Walton. |

Let's see, Boston offered PP straight up for Odom during the summer and we rejected them. Why would we now offer more for PP? _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu3vkwP3GHQ |

What?!! |
Supposedly Emplay reported that (source Gunshot )
Looking back, thats just crazy...even if it were just for trade value, we could get a heck of a lot more for a Pierce package than we can at this point for a LO package. _________________

Uhhh...
Because Odom has actually regressed under a coach whose system was supposed to make him a better player?
Or perhaps because he's made bonehead plays on national TV?
Maybe it's because when Kobe goes off for 50, people wonder aloud why he's (Kobe) required to do so much just for the Lakers to have a shot at winning?
Other than that, I have no idea. |

As I've said before, I would be absolutely thrilled if we could do this trade. Odom has regressed, but I am not sure if his value has plummeted as well. Other teams may simply think that he is a poor fit for the triangle offense... they may also think that they can get him on the cheap now since he is struggling with the Lakers.
I guess the logic for wanting Walton is that he's a former player's son? Or that he is white? (which by the way is the only reason why they could have wanted Wally...) _________________ -

Today he is stuck on the term "role player"
