With Kobe gone, perhaps a more mature DH12 will get a proper chance to come play for the purple and gold again. It would make for one Hollywood story. I think he always wanted to be in LA...he just couldn't jell with Kobe.

I wouldn't sign him even if he wanted to come back. Dude is already breaking down physically, about to be 30, and his game is based solely on his athletic ability. No thanks.

That would be...way too weird.

But honestly, no. Not because of the past or whatever, but because he's not who he used to be anymore. He's breaking down and it won't be long before he becomes a shell of his former self. That injury in his last year of Orlando really destroyed the rest of his career.

Still a really good player obviously because he can still make an impact defensively, but then he would just be a more expensive version of Roy Hibbert.

Even without the history, NOPE.

He's still a really good defense anchor but he's not the right guy you want around young studs like D'LO, Julius, and Jordan.

Sure there's a chance. Question is.. why would we? I'd rather keep Hibbert and keep developing Upshaw(if his mind's right) if that was the case.

This clown said that he's got 10,11 years left in the league

Hey, he and Swaggy P can "ham it up" on the tv interviews while celebrating 1 victory after losing 12 straight!

I wonder if the lakers front office would even try to get him.

Honestly I would hate to see this guy wearing a lakers uniform again.

ZERO chance of this ever happening.

There's actually better chance of Dwight playing another "good 10 years" then him ever dawning purple and gold again.

The thing about D12 is that he's a slightly better or a tier above guys like Tyson Chandler and Joakim Noah, but he's several tiers below the Shaqs and the Hakeems, but he'll get paid like them.

Very few people will take D12 over Joakim Noah

Right now I think most would take D12 over Noah.
