Kind of a heartbreaker for the Mets, since they should have won last game and this game...With that said, I don't care. They closed us out at home, so while I don't hate them like the Gnats or Cardinals, I am glad to see KC win it. |

Mets looked like a team of destiny after playing the Dodgers and Cubs. Now look where they're at.

Could've been a close series if the Mets didn't have a bunch of mental errors.... |

Since 2001, look at how many NY teams made it to the Finals of their respective leagues and come out a loser....
2001 New York Yankees
2002 New Jersey Nets
2003 New Jersey Nets
2003 New York Yankees
2013 New York Rangers
2015 New York Mets
If it wasn't for the 2 New York Giants Super Bowl rings and the 2009 Yankees World Series victories, New York would be a pretty depressing sports town.... |

I can't believe that the team I was rooting for in the World Series actually won! _________________ 1996-2016

Did you mean Royals 4-1 over the Mets? _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Go ahead and throw in the NJ Devils losing to the Kings in 2012. |

This is still pretty good
2001 Lakers

2002 Lakers
2009 Lakers
2010 Lakers
2012 Kings
2014 Kings

The Ducks won in 2007. The Galaxy have a crap load of titles too.
But yeah, very little baseball glory in recent years. _________________ 1996-2016
