Its one of those you remember where you were when it was read. I was in English class in junior high.

Little did we know that Robert Kardashian wasn't going to be the only Kardashian we knew of....

Another reason to hate OJ, he brought the name Kardashian to the national stage. Rot in hell.

Amazingly, the dude is being released in a year and a half. Rumor is he's 340lbs and in a wheelchair.

In another bit of Trivia, it's also the 25th anniversary of German Reunification: Germany Reunited

I was at work listening to the daily radio broadcast of the trial. It still bothers me how many people came outside after the verdict cheering.

For those who believe in Karma. OJ was found not guilty of killing two people, sent to jail for 9 years for a crime that usually carries a 6 month sentence.

What goes around comes around.

I was parking my car in front of a mortuary preparing to say my final goodbye to a great friend who committed suicide.

And I didn't think the day could get any worse.

I believe it was 33 years....I think he's eligible for parole in 2 years.
They definitely did it as a makeup for what they believed was a botched jury decision.
OJ was dumb enough to not stay out of the headlines. He probably thought he was invincible after getting a verdict in his favor.

My biggest memory of the OJ case was how it totally screwed up TV programming. I wanted to watch my weekday afternoon cartoons ( Boy, are those a relic of the 90's) not the goofy black dude from the naked gun movies.

I think the OJ trial basically ushered a new era of reality TV programming.......
Remember instead of afternoon cartoons we got a live feed of the the trial. TV execs probably saw that reality based programming gets higher ratings than cartoons, so TV stations gradually killed off the afternoon cartoon programming blocks. I remember back in the 90s stations like KCOP, KCAL, KTLA, and KTTV used to show cartoons for kids coming home from schools....look at where we are today, we don't have cartoons in the afternoon, mornings or Saturdays anymore.

I also didn't know OJ played football until during the trial. I just knew him as "Nordberg."

On that subject, the jury's decision for the OJ murder case might have been influenced by the recent Rodney King verdict, and perhaps many other cases where the justice system didn't work in the favor of African Americans.

Yeah I figured as much considering the odds of a black man getting away with killing two white people are slim to none he beat those odds and found a way to screw that up

I remember watching it in Germany on CNN International. My English wasn't any good and I was only 13, but I followed it daily. I somehow got the gist of what was going on most of the time. And the main reason I was interested was because I knew OJ from the Naked Gun movies, since I didn't even know that he played American football.

OJ had the best lawyers money could buy.....the prosecution had so many holes in their case, it was not hard to poke holes in it. Don't forget after the OJ verdict, the authorities had to change a lot of the procedures on how to handle evidence and not taint the crime scene.

Jogging my memory, I was watching the trial on TV.

I remember Johnny Cochran being impeccably dressed.

During the trial the transformation of Marsha Clark and Chris Darden's wardrobes was also noticeable.

The trial was a fashion show. Johnny won hands down.

Don't sleep on Judge Ito. He was looking pretty dapper in his penguin outfit.

The DA's office thought they had a slam dunk, and thus made all kinds of miscalculations - including under-estimating the legal team they were facing. Lance Ito's desire to milk his new celebrity status didn't help.

I think that actually started happening beginning with the infamous low-speed chase. When the news media saw the huge draw and immediate impact of that live coverage (people in LA literally leaving their homes to run down to the 405 freeway etc.) it was clear that the public had a hunger for watching reality play out. Prior to the chase, the OJ case was really kind of just a passing interest kind of thing. But once he became a "fugitive" on the run, it was all over. It was going to be all OJ all the time.

I wouldn't mind the father Robert kardashian. However, it's that douche cake Ryan seacrest that brought this family to the national stage by exploiting Kim k porno movie on kiss fm and eventually main stream television. If anything Ryan seacrest needs a beating of a life time

Man, I remember watching the Knicks-Rockets NBA Finals game and they put a picture in picture....screwing up the viewing at the time because you couldn't see the bottom corner of the screen.

Why blame Seacrest? He did nothing the public didn't want. Evidenced by the money made by those who exploited what the public wanted to see.

Those hating, did you tune into the Kardashian reality show?

It's all about the Benjamin's.

Depends what you believe in...the chicken or the egg....
Is the populace dumb enough to be entertained by reality shows that they keep on pumping out more to satisfy demand? Or are the TV stations looking for cheap forms of entertainment, so they produce reality TV as an alternative to scripted television, and dumb it down enough to attract the lowest common denominator to get enough of an audience to keep them coming back for more?

Oh, well it's all good then. As long as they are making money and exploiting Kris's "charity" status, who's to criticize?
