Those hating, did you tune into the Kardashian reality show?

It's all about the Benjamin's.

Depends what you believe in...the chicken or the egg....
Is the populace dumb enough to be entertained by reality shows that they keep on pumping out more to satisfy demand? Or are the TV stations looking for cheap forms of entertainment, so they produce reality TV as an alternative to scripted television, and dumb it down enough to attract the lowest common denominator to get enough of an audience to keep them coming back for more?

That's a huge part of the equation behind what has happened over the last 7 to 10 years.

Reality TV is cheaper and easier to produce, especially since they have been producing those shows outside of the Guilds, so they can find cheap production and post production staff (though that is finally changing a bit) that is not union protected in regards to salary and benefits. They know that there's a large portion of the TV audience that is lazy, so if they can catch the attention of that portion of the audience who just wants something to look at and really doesn't care what it is, they are ahead. They know that more discriminating viewers are not going to watch regardless, so there's no need to try and lure them. it's like the fast food industry for television. Do it cheap and make it easy to consume and no need to worry about quality.

So it's really not a matter of giving the audience what the audience demands at all. It's a matter of finding a cheap product to produce and subsisting on the fact that there're enough people out there who are willing to watch crap.

Another reason to hate OJ, he brought the name Kardashian to the national stage. Rot in hell.

I wouldn't mind the father Robert kardashian. However, it's that douche cake Ryan seacrest that brought this family to the national stage by exploiting Kim k porno movie on kiss fm and eventually main stream television. If anything Ryan seacrest needs a beating of a life time

Lawyer + U$C grad + Spawned monsters. Three strikes and you're out.

Was on the way to San Diego. Listened to the verdict on the radio. Once I reached my destination, I had never seen that many white people crying and upset.

Just screaming about no justice and completely outraged with the justice system, like it had let them down. And I thought to myself "Damn, y'all know what it's like to be brown or black for a day when it comes to the justice system." It happens like that all the time in our world.

Racial tension. Serious arguments outside the court house. It was just a crazy time.

It was ridiculous, people cheering or crying like they were watching a game or something....I guess when you invested all that time watching the trial, you probably had your mind made up. And I'll never forget those crazy protesters outside the courtroom....reminded me of the shenanigans on Hollywood Boulevard. And then a couple of years later we had the MJ molestation trial, the same people were probably there too....

I was on some movie set, too long ago to remember what....but when we found out when the verdicts were to be read...production stopped, everyone gathered around two TVs...the verdict was read,..I remember hearing all of these gasps....then it seemed as though everyone was staring at me......and I was someone that thought he was guilty from day one....although I thought he did it I understood the verdict.....
I still remember a high school girl being interviewed... the reporter asked her if two wrongs make a right??.....she said no......but it makes us even!!...not something I would have said....but something I understood.

I'm not gonna lie. I was watching channels 2, 4, 5, 7, 9 and 11. Channel 13 was smart enough to say we're gonna play regular shows to give people a break from the trial.

Just lets you know racial tension sells. It really validated two things I had already known: (1) black vs white makes money; and (2) if you have the green, you can get off if that was P.J. From Lynwood instead of O.J. From Brentwood, his ass would have been fried.

If the show's making money I don't blame producers for pumping into them. I'm not into reality TV. I don't watch any. I think they're scripted to a degree.
I watched about 10 minutes of Big Brother. I don't see the facination.

Those hating,

Is there anything not to hate?

Not one second.

Oh, well it's all good then. As long as they are making money and exploiting Kris's "charity" status, who's to criticize?

Hate is a strong noun. I don't see a reason to hate anything Secreast did.
I dislike what the show presented, never watched a episode.

The Kardashians played and are playing the public, I don't blame them for making money. They're getting paid.

If I had to lay blame I'd blame a gullible public. They're paying the Kardashian's. I don't blame the Kardashian's for taking advantage of an opportunity.

Like I said "It's all about the Benjamin's."

Criticizing is in order. I think hate is to much.

Do you have any idea what the ratings are?

Could your forgiving perception have anything to do with you stroking it to Kim's sex tape?

Nah, I'm partial to Kobe Tai.
