The bottom message was Paul George's response to playing the PF position in Indiana and it was also his response to Indiana's new faster pace.

Quote:
"I don’t know if I’m cut out for a four spot," George said. "Defensively, it’s rough. It’s rough. It’s an adjustment because I’m not used to doing some of the things out there" He also said he's not the only one on the team not a fan of the pace, which was about 20 more possessions than a game from last year. We'll see how his coach handles this big issue.

Can a potential trade be looming down the line (....to the lakers haha), he would make the ideal SF post Kobe.

Larry would make us send them Russell, Randle, and Clarkson before he answered Mitch's phone call to negotiate it .

They have no leverage if they have a disgruntled star

This is probably more in line with reality, however Indiana does look like its engaging in a complete rebuild. I've seen many star players be shipped out in the past few years to allow a complete rebuild, if George wants no part of that then who knows. I do remember before he signed his extension with Indiana he did say something along the lines of him being a Lakers fan growing up, and it would be hard to say no to Kobe if asked to join the lakers.

How does Mitch have leverage to force Bird to take a lowball offer in a trade?

Why not add Rob Sacre - the true back up center/cheerleader

Or, test his senility quotient by offering him Hibbert...

His prime is wasted out there in Indiana.
Same for Melo in NY and Cousins in Sac Town.

Paul is not playing pf on defense against bigger teams so far its been LaVoy Allen or Jordan Hill. Against a smaller line-up its been CJ Miles or Chase Budinger guarding the pf.

Myles Turner missed the 1st game but played 18 minutes in the 2nd game. Ian Mahinmi has been the starting center putting up 10,5 ppg, 8.5 rpg and 1.5 bpg. By mid-season it will either be Mahinmi and Turner starting at c and pf . Or Turner playing the majority of minutes at center.

PG's shot is not falling up in 2 games he is putting up 17.5 ppg, 10rpg, 6.5 apg, and 2 steals. He appears to be very close to his pre-injury form.

Yes they do, he is under contract. He can be as disgruntled as he wants and threaten his future earnings potential.

If you want Paul George you have to get another big man first. Hibbert will not play with Paul George again... Or did you already forget Hibberts last season in Indiana?

The Pacers have played a bigger starting line up last 2 games. Paul George has responded with 26 points 10 rebounds and 3 assist vs Celtics and 36 points 12 boards and 3 assist vs the Heat.

The more he plays the more apparent it becomes he is almost back to his pre-injury form and the Pacers are finding the bigger lineup is playing better.

Jordan Hill back to back double doubles and in last 3 sames after setting out a game he has sparked the 3 game win streak avg 12 ppg and 8.7 rebounds.

Damn, wish Indy would keep pissing off George.

Would Indy like DeAngelo? Maybe a DeAngelo for George swap

You get salary relief?
