Russell was really laboring to get up. Looked like he hit his back/tailbone pretty hard on the floor. _________________ Endgame

Vitti thinks Russell can return....what a relief!!!
I think maybe he shouldn't but I'm just relieved it isn't a back injury!!

Didn't Vitti think Nash was OK to do weighted squats on a broken leg? _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

If Vitti thinks it's okay for him to return that means it's NOT okay for him to return. |

Probably just flogged his butt with a whip with leeches on the tips. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

@LakersReporter: LAL’s physical therapist, Judy Seto, is working on Russell (glute) in the back. No guarantee he’ll return tonight, but possible. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

UPDATE: Status is now unclear. Less of a chance that he will return.
Watch it be a broken tailbone...

Vitti brought some of the Blue Goo (tm) from the mainland, so everything's fine. Nash, Malone... no worries at all. |

Hope the kid is okay and that the reports of a bruise are correct.
Just makes me think of the inhuman Kobe, shooting free throws and walking off the court under his own power with a torn achilles. No dig on Russell, just that Kobe is ridiculous |

Typical Vitti. Says he'll be right back in the game. Will probably miss at least a couple games. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

He's out for the game. So he's likely to miss the entire preseason because he likely has glute fracture that Vitti misdiagnosed. LOL |

Most of us have had tail bone injuries, they frigging suck, and can be very painful, Hopefully our pg of the future does not have his career interrupted by such a freakish injury. _________________ .....

Yep
Randle told him he felt something on his leg, Vitti said just play. Then he plays and he breaks his leg
Can totally see this happen with Rusell too, but I don't know if one can break their butt _________________ Kobe |
