This is not good, for a lot of reasons. But IMO he is being moved, so hopefully for him and his family it is more about that than the injury itself. _________________ Lakers Tickets |

The good news is someone else will get a chance to step up and score in a major way. Whether it be Bynum, Wafer, Smush, or Mihm.... someone else is going to get a lot of touches and plays ran at them. |

I guess we will finally get to see just how much lamar means to this team. Maybe this stretch will put all you odom haters in your place! |

in their place? i've been a supporter of Odom but his play of late is just terrible...now, him being out hurts quite a bit, but there are several guys I wouldn't mind seeing Lamar traded for in this leauge.
IMO, Odom needs to go if this team is gonna get any better, doesnt mean I hate Odom, but he's just clearly NOT a second option on a good team. _________________

not that i don't think odom is a good player, he is, but he's soooo overrated by phil jackson and i think he's holding the lakers back with his salary. he just doesn't fit, i really hope he is traded or gone by next season. he just doesn't fit into the laker's future. i don't think this is as big of a loss as it would be for most teams losing their supposed second best player. |

Unless the Lakers are allowed to actually put one of the players that the so-called Odom haters would trade him for in his place while Lamar is out, it means nothing.
All this stretch can do is prove that Odom is better than nothing, which, for the most part, is an accurate statement. |

Funny, but it looked like Lamar got hit on the left side of his chest - which seems to be empty anyway. So what could he possibly have injured?? _________________ "Why do you think bad things happen, anyway???" "So we have something good to look forward to."

So you mean to tell me that if we end up going something like 2-8 while he is out it means nothing! |

Being moved? The Lakers dumb asses wouldn't even go after Artest. What makes you think they're gonna start trading now. Get a whiff of reality guys gees. |

That figures. We have courtside seats for the Hornets game tomorrow in OKC. I could not wait to rip into Odom for being such a worthless piece of $#!&.
I guess now Odom will have to hear my two cents as he sits on the bench. What a waste of $13 million cap money!
At least Mr. 81 will be in the house. Kobe has a better chance of getting a "W" without Odom jacking up 20% from the field. |

Well we definately need to make a trade now. Kobe cannot do this all on his own. Out until after the break??? Thats horrible news. We need help and need it now! This stretch of games could make or break our season. |
