I don't.
That league is trash. IMO.
I'm really surprised it's going to be an olympic event. Sigh.
That means out of shape guys can still play and be successful. smh

You wanna see someone score 100 points in a game? Put Mamba in a 3 on 3 league.

Mamba doesn't need to play in Big3. I wouldn't want to see it.

Yeah but Imagine AD/KD/Curry in a game of 3 on 3? Or LeBron/Harden/Westbrook..

in the Olympics, I'd love to see NBA players go 3 on 3.

In the Big 3? Kobe should just enjoy the praise and keep winning Oscars.

Hehe. That would be insane.
But I feel like it's impossible to play good team defense when it's 3v3. And as a fan of good team defense, I'm still iffy on it

It's wild how his contemporaries view Kobe. He's TRULY the MJ level, basketball messiah of his generation. Media? He "might" be top 15. His TS% wasn't that great. Wild.

Oh...and...

KOBE! That one was nothing but net.

I love how incredulous their reactions were, like they couldn’t believe someone dared ask such an inane question.

KOBE should never play again. That halo, mystique or whatever you want to call it, is worth a bundle...his businesses have taken off, he should stick to that now and let people wonder, discuss, argue, etc but not play; he has nothing to prove.

Seems to be just the media that are actively downplaying Kobe’s legacy. The players know what’s up.

Are people dumb? Kobe is FROM the smash mouth era. The 90s and early 2000s. You could argue that the era was tougher in the late 80s and early 90s but you can’t deny that he’s one bad mother ...

Trash? Nope. Its actually very entertaining, I was at the Playoff game in Dallas on Friday night, they already have a pretty good fan base, the tickets are cheap and its a good night for families, its not meant to compete with the NBA.

You're right. Trash should not have been the word.
Definitely not my cup of tea. The 4 point spot is gimmicky. I think it'll have a niche fan base. But the fact that it's in the olympics, perhaps more folks will watch.

I know it doesn't compete with the NBA. But it's basketball at its base form. If there's an elite product called the NBA, for the most part I'm not going to spend my time on lesser products. Similar to why I limit my viewings of the WNBA, college basketball, hs basketball, the drew league, etc. to a minimum. But that's me, and of course other people spend time on what entertains them, as it should be.
