Dodgers are heating up, but I fear doing it with mirrors a bit with a lot of close low scoring games.
As usual great pitching and mediocre hitting.
But the Big Blue Wrecking Crew will rampage when the time is right, don't doubt that. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Doyers were down big but their offense is keeping them in the game. It's 7-6 Pirates. _________________ Thank you, Kobe. We love you. |

It was a battle of which pitcher was going to be worse. On a positive note, Seager is a hair away from batting .300. |

The Dodgers pitcher is horrible in the minors and should have never made it up to the majors. He was terrible. He was throwing meatballs, they were hitting him hard. |

Ryu got shelled in his last minor league start. Hope he can pull it together. |

Seager is awesome. Can't believe teams actually thought they could get Seager, Urias and more for 2-month rentals last year. He's already a top-4 SS in the league, and will probably be the best within a year or two. |

S quote="DuncanIdaho"]aw2Ryu got shelled in his last minor league start. HDEope he can pull it together.[/quote] Doesnt reallly matter all that much. He's just trying to get his strength up and pitch count up. He hit 89. He's not quite there yet.
He needs a few more starts. He will get there. The guy knows how to pitch. |

I think he's probably the 2nd best now (after Machado) and certainly best in the NL. Even with Machado and Story in HR friendly parks, Seager's right up there. _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

And Machado plays 3B mostly, only playing SS when Hardy was injured.
There's a fair argument to be made for Crawford in the NL, since he has such a good glove, and Lindor & Bogaerts in the AL as well. Although I still take Corey, since Seager's not too shabby on D himself (except for the occasional fluky error), and is a much better hitter than Crawford, with more power than Lindor and Bogaerts. |

See, it's innings like the 6th that just drive me up the wall with this team. Just tied the game with the go ahead run at 2nd and nobody out and AJ runs us out of a potential big inning. Of course Maeda then gets base hit to follow so instead of runners at 1st and 3rd with no outs, we have the pitcher on 1st with one out. Needless to say, we stranded him at first.
And, of course, our weak ass pitcher gives the lead right back in the bottom half of the inning. Pathetic. |

Man, Kike's been absolutely horrible as of late.
All he seems to do is strike out with a runner at third and less than two outs. |

Dodgers are 7.5 games back of the Giants...short of a miraculous winning streak, I think they will probably end up fighting for a wildcard spot. |

I don't think we will win a wild card in the NL this year. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Dodgers and Mets have the 2 wild card positions in the standings right now. Of course that means they would face each other in a 1 game playoff. |

Where there'd be a low scoring game with us having a slim lead only to have the bullpen or defensive mental lapses lose the lead in which our flaccid and gunshy offense cannot recover from. _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

^^ Mets offense is 3rd worse. Two teams behind them are both NL East teams (Atl and Philly). Clayton is just going to have to go the distance in that game and deliver. |

Gotta love it. This pirates team that couldn't do jack against Giants is taking us to the woodshed so far. |
