Clinch the NL West on Vin's Final game broadcasting from Dodger Stadium. Sounds like the team has a goal tomorrow.

Last three games are against the Giants. We will have clinched by then, but we may have a chance to knock them out of the wild card/playoffs altogether. I know teams typically rest after they've clinched, but you just have to knock them out.

Just saw the headline on another message board and was hoping it was some kind of joke subject line (kinda like the 'Brandon knight was killed by deandre Jordan' when he got dunked on).

But damn...this one is true. So sad. So freakin' young.

Today could be the day. We play at 1:10 and Giants play at 1:40.

LOGISTICS QUESTIONS

I haven't been to Dodger stadium since '09 and I've never driven. What is the catch to parking in lot 13 ($5)? Is it stack? How worthwhile is it to pay 5 vs 10 vs 35? What time should I arrive if game is at 1:10pm? Thanks in advance.

Lot 13 is either a long walk or a shuttle. Arrive at least an hour and a half for traffic reasons. $10 is fine for parking. $35's not really that worth it since you'll be stuck heading out of the lot anyways. But since you tend to ignore me, I doubt you'll ever read this.

Actually, it's quite typical of LA area people.

Looks like we may clinch on a SF loss, even before our game ends.

If it were up to me, both teams would keep playing for 1239120381293801289036346 innings bc I want to keep listening to Vin Scully.

I like the subdued on-field celebration. Just winning the division is NOT enough.

Couldn't have scripted it any better! Wow, Culberson with the walk-off on Vin's final broadcast!

Been there, done that. Now let's make Vin do a curtain call encore performance.
