Doing a shot for my LG/Dodger friends right now.

What's say we do it again next year?

Definitely. Congrats to you and your Cubs and their fanbase. Well deserved.

Yep. The better team won. It's about as simple as that.

Well I know one thing I'm sick and tired of the Mike Breen of baseball, Joe Buck. I'm now an instant Indians fan.

I was riding high on the clutch play of our team all year but bottom line, Cubs are seriously LOADED. Other than team speed, they have it all, elite pitching, position players, defense, power, average, bullpen etc.

Hoping they sweep the Indians. Tired of the billy goat stories and I really, REALLY don't want to hear anymore about championships in Cleveland this year.

Putting my disappointment aside, I think this was mostly a successful season from which to build upon moving forward... unlike the '14 and '15 runs, which both felt like the team hit a wall and needed a major shake-up. The best offseason acquisition was Dave Roberts, no question about it. I can't express how good it feels knowing that we have a competent, youthful skipper at the helm who clearly made more with less. Let's see what he can do with a stronger roster, provided the FO gives him one.

EDIT: Didn't see post above before posting. Pretty similar sentiments.

We were definitel riding on house money with the # of injuries we had. At a certain point, the amount of pressure on the staff was too much. Both the starters and bullpen were running on fumes at the end there.

The FO has some MAJOR work to do in the off-season. That starting rotation next to Clayton was an absolute joke. Inexcusable how much neglect went into it.

As long as the Giants and Cards are nowhere near the NLCS or even playoffs I'm good with whatever.

You should be, the Cards have owned the Dodgers in the playoffs since '85.

Pride makes me now cheer for the Indians, I predicted they would win the Series. That and a distaste for the Cubs.

Many Cubs fans want him replaced. As you know, he's a die-hard Cardinals guy and that route 66 Cubs/Cardinals rivalry is one for the ages.

Spent part of my childhood in Cleveland, will be hoping to see the Indians win one.

Oh enough with the sour grapes St.Louis whining.

Cardinals suck. Sit back and enjoy the Cubs in the World Series.

I agree but honestly I don't know if these two idiots know how to find pitchers who aren't foreign leaguers or players from teams that managed before or NL East people.

I was first an Indians fan as a child. My grandfathers took me to my first games at the old Municipal Stadium. And I listened to the Indians games on the radio. So I guess I will be going back to my roots.

Go Indians. Not so much because the Dodgers were eliminated by the Cubs, but because Trevor Bauer is on the team and if the Dodgers didn't win it, I'd be happy to see him win it.

The final tally on the Dodger's trade deadline has basically resulted in the loss of 3 good prospects, although I don't mind if they re-sign Rich Hill to a one-year deal.

I don't get the management's thinking. They're not willing to give up draft pick compensation to sign known guys like Cueto, knowing that they can receive a draft pick if he opts out later and signs elsewhere, but they're willing to trade 3 guys that they've spent years developing for 2 guys that can walk for nothing in return? Do they value draft picks over guys closer to the majors? They didn't do a good job of timing the markets. Hopefully this is a lesson for them and they work to improve (but not this offseason since the free-agents list sucks).

After the 5-0 Cubs win, the Dodgers pitcher said their rowdy fans were celebrating too hard, directing their passion — and beer — to the Dodgers family section.

“Real classy cubs fans throwing beer in the Dodgers family section,” wrote the 28-year-old Anderson, who did not pitch in the series. “Stay classy f—–g idiots.”

No, not those fans....the ones that basically made Bartman's life a living hell after 2003 that he basically became a hermit....

I expect them to make Hill a qualifying offer (anticipated to be ~$16.7M).

Cubs were the better team, unfortunately. They're stacked. But, I still hope their streak remains in tact.

This was a great little playoff run. I was hoping we go all the way to WS but the Cubs were just too much for us. It was exciting nonetheless.

Thank you for a great season and post season Dodgers.

Congrats man. It was a long time coming for you guys.

Thought we had you after game 3 and the beginning of game 4 (that blown home plate call on AGone still irks me). But clearly the better team won. We were utterly destroyed from inning 4 of game 4 and on.

Good luck to you guys.

And thanks for beating the Giants!
