I guess they play hockey there and moisture was seeping through basketball floor and making it very slippery. We saw more than a few slips. Fortunately, no one got hurt.

They were talking about the high humidity in San Diego and that any basketball court in that area would have the same slipperiness. So that's why the Clips moved to Staples?

That doesn't make any sense. We're having high humidity but other parts of the country have even higher levels.

There was a minor league hockey game played there last night.

Bryon was going to play a Bass/Black/Holmes front court in the 4th quarter. Too bad we didn't get to see see them in action for extended minutes, but at least no one got injured today

Too much moisture on the court (from humidity I guess). They were slipping all over the court. Potential injuries could have happened.

I liked what I saw from Frazier this game. He was playing good basketball. Id cut Metta. And hire him as defensive coach

Interesting factoid: Lakers had 12 players who played 12 minutes and 2 more with 18 minutes each.

It's the only logical explanation. There's no way Sacre should be playing over Upshaw.

High humidity in San Diego? Most days its difficult to make it from your front door to your car without a damp shirt in Miami, Orlando, and New Orleans! Not sure how San Diego's mild humidity in comparison could cause such a problem.

No refunds. The tickets already have wording about that. Typically you can get tickets to a future game if the game is canceled but that was not the case here. This was a legal game in the books so the fans got what they paid for.

It's has been unusually humid all over California the past couple of days. Scattered thunderstorms all over the place.

Yeah, I think it was Billy Mac who said that. Who knows where he pulled that thought out of...

Everyone that paid to see Tyson fight in the 80's is having flashbacks of anger.

It's too bad this game was cut short. I was really enjoying watching the team play tonight.

I gotta say it. This team has a much different vibe when Kobe is not playing. The ball doesn't stick.
It's like watching two different teams. Feels as if the weight was lifted off of Randle and Clarkson shoulders to just play their game.
