Loved the Steve Nash runners and the "child, please" waive off on Jabari

This guy has been impressive on both ends of the floor. I can't believe this is his first game.

Never heard of the guy before the signing, but he's looking great so far in his debut.

Definitely deserves his own thread. He looked spectacular tonight!

He is exactly what this team needs to help organize the second unit. What a difference with him on the floor with the 2nd unit compared to the first couple of preseason games when we basically went iOS with Lou and Young.

He needs to be on the floor every second that Williams is on the floor so he can waive him off and run an actual play.

It's like everything just clicked on offense when Huertas played. He looked like Nash out there.

Huertas is playing like Steve Nash was supposed to play. Does he have 3-pt range?

I honestly think Huertas looks as good or better than Russell (he definitely looks smoother). Even with just the probing and mid-range, Huertas looks like more of an offensive threat. DLO isn't any kind of offensive threat right now, except for his passing.

Sort of. Streaky and doesn't have the most beautiful release, but he's hit at a high % several times before.

I want Huertas to start. But the problem is, I don't know if Russell can stabilize the second unit like Huertas does.

Hurts looks like the stabilizing commander that the second unit needs, in order to operate efficiently. In addition, he can also be a mentor to Russell, and Clarkson, alongside Kobe.

It's been a slow process, but I can see this team shaping up nicely. Still have a ways to go, but beginning to see the team taking shape.

Having a point guard to stabilize the second unit will really help Lou and Nick get their own shot in the rhythm of the offense, rather than them having to go 1 on 1 to their theirs. Huertas demonstrated that ability to stabilize the bench tonight. Great debut from him.
