Calderon is light years ahead of Huertas. You can't leave Calderon alone as he can hit the 3. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Calderon is probably better suited as a SG at this point in his career. |

Calderon is better in every way. When u have Clarkson, DLO, Williams and Calderon I don't really see the need for Huerras unless an injury develops. I hope the second year is a team option. |

Not a fan of huertas at all, as a player or leader. But I suppose it's possible to do worse at third string pg. |

We could have had Ish Smith, or potentially Fisher as a 3rd string PG.
Huertas seems like a planned move cause one of the PGs will be traded. |

Yeah.
Guarding bigger guards, will be a bad move. |

Huertas can be our resident bench cheerleader since Sacre is kaput. Somebody has to do it. |

Zubac seems to be a very cheerful guy on the bench, he can cheer and also be a contributor for us, if we wanted a mascot we could just get Jack Nicoleson to do the cheerleading. |

Fisher would sleep with someone's wife.
Ish Smith just signed for 6M per for 3. No thanks. |

We were about to sign Ish Smith but then he went on twitter and spoiled it so it didn't happen. Would have been a nice back up but he blew that one. |

Watching the Brazil - Lithuania match up. Brazil is getting lit up in the first half. Huertas has looked more bad than good on the floor. But I think the pressure of playing at home in Brazil is getting to them. |

This Brazilian team going back to '08 or '09 has always been puzzling underachievers. They've had a big man rotation of Nene/Varejao/Splitter in the past and wound up getting pushed around |

Nenê declined most of Brazilian Team call ups.

And surprisingly in the second half Huertas does not play at all while Brazil makes a big run.
A disappointing outing from Huertas this time. To say the least. _________________ .

It's actually better than that, it is non guaranteed with a guarantee date of 7/8 (a week after free agency starts). If it was a team option the team would have to decide in june. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Huertas balling against Rubio and Calderon.
Who thinks Calderon is better than Huertas knows less than Jon Snow...which knows nothing |

Quote: | The Los Angeles Lakers don’t have any players on Team USA, but they aren’t without representation on the international stage. Jose Calderon is playing for Spain, and Marcelo Huertas for Brazil, bringing a purple and gold flavor to the Olympic games.
The two Lakers point guards faced each other on Tuesday morning, with Brazil coming away with the nail-biting 66-65 win over the Spanish side. Calderon played just a little over a minute, but Huertas helped lead the way for the Brazilians, producing a team leading 11 points and seven assists in the narrow win. |

Wow. Spain isn't playing Calderon. I think he's a better playmaker in international competition than Rubio/Rodriguez. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Why isn't Calderon playing? Is it because they are deep in the backcourt or is he hurt? I'd like to see him play. |

I am amazed with the vision that you all have of Calderon. He is an average player, nothing more. |
