These losses are taking Kobe's MVP trophy right out of his hands. |

Odds are the Lakers aren't going to make a trade. It's not in their nature to do so. They'll retool this summer and try to save as much money as they can before the summer of 2007. _________________ "People don't think it be like it is, but it do." - Oscar Gamble

Lakers will not make a trade. Phil doesn't trust the triangle knowledge of the players he's had all season, he certainly won't trust a new player to pick it up.
This season is feeling eerily like last season. Flashes of great stuff early on, struggling at the midpoint, Lamar getting injured. Kobe will have to take a beating to try to win games and he will end up getting injured. Then Phil will decide his own health is not good enough for the stress. Fans will hold out hope for a big off-season acquisition. We will go for limited specialist-types like Walton and Cook instead.
Don't bother sending me to the P*** and Moan thread, I'm on my way. _________________ Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst. |

What, with Artest? Hasn't helped Sac any... The Kings have won one game since his admission. All Ronnie has done is taken the ball out of Bibby's hands. Artest since he has arrived in Sac as I'm just guessing from glancing at the stats has taken over as shot attempts leader...
"The Ak47 shot him up" on both sides of the ball in Utahs latest win against the Kings. _________________ "According to ESPN.com's conference projections, the Lakers will finish 12th in the West, which prompted Bryant to tweet earlier this offseason, "12th I see.." |

This team is awful. Sure, some nights we can get it together, but that is about 1 in 4. There is not a single example of a win when Kobe's shot was not falling. TOnight, he was brilliant, but refused to take bad shots through triple teams. And we saw what happened.
Face it. We suck. |
I'm pretty sure teams would deal for Bynum or Mihm too.
Both of them are C's in a league where they aren't many. Mihm is playing well and is consistently averaging double figures.
The thing with deals though - You have to make it work both ways. There's undoutbly deals out there for the Lakers for LO, Mihm and Bynum (all seperately). But the question is do those deals benefit the Lakers?
And the deals/players that the Lakers might want - Other teams would probably want more than Mihm. They might want Odom or Bynum. |

Until this team learns the importance of coming out to play every game they deserve to lose. I hate to say it but they have to learn. |
