We lost the last game when Kobe went out in the third quarter. Nick Young came in for him.

Not because Kobe went out. Not because Nick Young came in. But because at that point we had no easy shot makers. Clarkson and Randle are our only two easy shot makers. For about 18 minutes straight (halfway into third and through end of fourth) we were struggling badly to score. Our defense is atrocious as always but if we can't score either then we will lose. And we couldn't score because we only had tough shot makers in the game.

Lou, Nick, sure they can score, but they score with tough shots. Bass never makes a shot that isn't surrounded by three defenders. Kelly always passes the ball on. Huertas is not a scorer.

It's just lousy. Clarkson is someone who finds easy shots at the rim and converts them at a high clip. Randle whenever he is hot also finds easy shots. That it took Byron almost a quarter and a half to put Clarkson back in is what lost us the game.

tl;dr Clarkson needs to play more minutes
