Randle was very perplexing today. Didn't break his man down from the top of the key. Settled for jumpers, and on the occasion he found himself in the paint, he forced up circus shots after circus shots. Porzingis the Randle stopper? LOL! |

4th quarter
Lou Kobe Nick Lance Tarik
- Play good d, keep a lead, win the glass, and move the ball
Lou Nick Metta Lance Tarik
- keep that lead and play good ball
Lou Nick Metta Lance Hibbert
- keep that lead, play good team ball, cut, and Metta scores some
Insert Randle, Clarkson, Russell
- Clarkson loses Galloway like he lost Jack all game and you give up the lead, in place of Nick actually rotating correctly
- Randle gets beat on effort plays by prozingis because he wouldn't box out or rotate
- Ruasell watches over trying to attack like how Lou was drawing fouls
If anyone is blaming Scott for anything tonight, hell its playing those kids and pulling hot hands Like he pulled Kobe in the first and Metta in the 4th |

It's easy to say what you're saying except did you account for the fact that NY also took out their subs? Today's bench was great, they outscored the NY bench. But both teams went back to their starters as expected. |

Pretty much this and Porzingis is not slow like some big guys. We should not forget that Randle got some TRex arms, he is not really undersized, but neither is tall for the position, lack serious hoops and have small hands, so not a great matchup for him.
What is beyond the comprehension is how you tank the whole year and pass so many good big guys, but I still have hope that in 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 years Russel will be starter material or something better. |

Yep, if he were coach. I could see him having no issues benching kobe, and butting heads with him, and it would be a good thing. |

Porzingis is a lot more experienced than Randall and a much more well-rounded player. 3+ years of euroleague experience - so it'll take Randall a while to catch up if he can _________________ LBJ + AD = More rings

yeah Coop is criticizing the Lakers.. so he should be the next head coach?
Remember when Byron Scott was that guy?
People need to stop wanting guys just cause they're former Lakers that criticize the team.
Team needs an actual COACH. |

But it is not.
Russell the day before had the game of his young life and was benched for Lou because it's expected for Lou to close as he has all year.
Nick and Clarkson are night and day. Like him or not, Nick deserved to close this game and the game before on defense over Clarkson. Clarkson lost Jack all last game. Clarkson lost Galloway this game and gave them the lead. Nick didn't make boxscore stat numbers but he made the correct basketball plays. Nick dug in the paint, got back to his guy, closed out to shooters, and he boxed out on the glass while never leaking out in the second and fourth quarters when we built the lead with him,
Randle got out worked, just like with faried. He didn't box out, he didn't recover to Roy's man when Roy cane to help him. He simply took plays off. He didn't do fundamental work.
At no point was there a let up in the second or fourth quarter when you had 5/7 of Lou, Kobe, Nick, Metta, Black, Lance, Hibbert on the floor. They cut off the basketball, they boxed out, they didn't stack one side the floor, the closed to shooters, they dug down on post ups without actually leaving their guys wide open. They got stops with Melo on the floor. For all the hooplah, Kobe and Metta put more effort in to defending Melo than anyone of the kids did tonight their lesser match ups
Russell, Randle, and Clarkson should have watched that game from the bench in the fourth to actually be taught a lesson and so we win. Clarkson being his defensive effort isn't there, Randle being that he needs to cut and box out, and Russell needs to jaut know when to attack

Kobe miss mid
Clarkson miss mid
Clarkson miss layup
Clarkson loses Galloway and they lose the lead
Randle miss jumper
Prozingis tips ball off Randle
Kobe miss 3
Randle miss 3
Prozingis offensive rebound and foul by Randle
Kobe fouls Melo contesting a fade away
Russell turnover
^^^ that's the last 6 when those three enter the game with a lead that Lou, Nick, Kobe, Metta, Lance, Tarik, and Roy earned and kept the whole time 5/7 were on the floor
down 8 we went Kobe, Lou, Clarkson, and Nick misses from 3 |

Cooper is right we can't win or develop the young players when Kobe is playing so awful. I cringe everytime Kobe shoots it. That's what it's come down to. |

Coop only member of showtime cartel to show some Bball sense and actually call out Kobe. Mad respect.
He also affected Worthy to not be his usual pro Byron spinning self. _________________ Llluuukkkeee |

Look at the box score.
And you wonder why they lost.
Look at the box score.
4 of 19
etc
The Lakers have to do a slowdown offense.
The team is full of chuckers who cannot play team ball.
And you heard it right. |

Agreed. Plus which, he's still kind of hedging towards Byron and making excuses for him. He said something about "the guys are buying into the system" and I was because I haven't seen any evidence of that, I frankly haven't seen a system to buy into. |
