I don't get how this guy just keeps getting pass after pass. ESPN LA is beyond neutered - No matter how bad he plays, they just ignore it, or make up some stupid excuse.

Old snake eaten by father time. Love you Kobe. Thanks for all the great memories. You are by far the one player I've watched the most in my lifetime.

He would never do it but he needs to take the Duncan, KG role. Be a mentor to the young guys. This over shooting is sad and exactly what his detractors say about him.

Kobe is never going to do it and Byron thinks he deserves the opportunity to chuck.

All we can do is count down the days til he is gone.

My favorite basketball player ever but he's a washed up carcass.

It's just crazy because you'd think maybe like 1 out of every 6 or 7 games the guy might find some rhythm and knock down some shots and get lucky. Crappy players have occasional good games all the time. But Kobe has played 14 games this season and hasn't sniffed 50% shooting once.

It doesn't hurt, it makes me angry. People need to stop walking on eggshells when talking about this guy. He's f'ing killing this team.

Can someone explain to me how he is mentoring the younger players like he keeps talking about? Maybe that happens in practice or something because during the game all I see is Kobe trying to get the ball and doing what he has always done....shoot.

I feel bad for him but dude has 300M. I feel worse for myself as I'm a regular Joe who just wants to come home from work and see my team belong in the same league as the opposition. Right now it's like we are the 13 year old girls team playing agains grown ass men. it's tough to watch.

Mentoring my butt. You mentor on the court. That's where it counts.

On the court, all he does is jack up 3s.

Stop embarrassing yourself.

We saw this with KG, Webber, Mark Price, Paul Pierce and Vince Carter where former stars become old and go from decent role players to complete (bleep) seemingly overnight in one season. Unfortunately not all players can be Karl Malone, David Robinson, Tim Duncan, even fat Shaq was serviceable in Boston, and the gold standard of aging and yet still producing - John Stockton.

it's difficult to understand what he cares about.

his career numbers are getting tainted by his horrible numbers this season.

What he likes more than winning is being the reason behind the win. It's always been that way. That's just how an ALPHA rolls.

At this point I'd be utterly ecstatic if he was playing like Wizards Jordan lol

I love the man to death and he will always be my favorite player ever, but this needs to stop. He's plying like trash right now.

This comment made me lose a ton of respect for Kobe. I am no longer counting down the days of trying to enjoy him but rather counting down til his sad, sorry carcass is gone forever.

Delusional but he thinks he still could do that stuff. He thinks his offense is not an issue at all.

I was honestly wishing he'd sit out more games. Play in I guess the marquee match ups. The ones he likes to out shoot the other stars. The less time the youngster have on the court with him the best.
