Somehow I could not watch DLeague games on FB any more.
But it appears Karl is experimenting a four-guard lineup. |

Have any of you guys went to a D Fenders game? Their website says tickets are $25 on weekdays. Is it worth going? I've never sat close at an NBA game, but here you'd be so close to the court I'm wondering if it'd be worth it..
I was just looking at a few of the box scores and Damien Wilkins is in the D-League? Dude's going to be 37 next month. |

I haven't gone to a d league game, but I've gone to minor league games in hockey and baseball one level below the majors, and it is a great value for some decent ball with some up and comers and a few names you know. I'd recommend going. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

Never been to a D-Fenders game, but I've been to a few Santa Cruz Warriors D-League games. It was a lot nicer when tickets were $15, but it's still worth it. They're definitely really fun to go to and the quality of play is high for sure. It's extremely impressive to see guys that huge and that athletic up close, even if they're not quite NBA superstars.
I'd recommend checking out the rosters of the opposing teams and trying to make it to a game with a team that has a few guys that you recognize from college ball or have been fringe players in the league. Makes it much more fun when you know who you're watching. I was fortunate enough to catch a Warriors game a couple years ago where they played the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, who had Andrew Goudelock (went for like 40 lol) and Hassan Whiteside. This last game I went to the other team had Ryan Arcidiacano (2016 NCAA tourney MVP) and Dejounte Murray (Spurs 1st round pick this year). And you're like 15 feet away. Pretty cool! |

Once the new Laker facility is completed the D-fenders will play home games there. It's going to be awesome!
Quote: | In addition to training areas and business offices for the Lakers, the facility will also be home to the Los Angeles D-Fenders, which is why the two basketball courts will be able to host 750 people in arena style seating. |

Skyforce Top D-Fenders In Offensive Thriller
Quote: | Facing off in a rematch of last year’s NBA D-League Finals, Los Angeles and visiting Sioux Falls did not disappoint in what became an instant offensive thriller. But it was the D-Fenders that came up on the losing end, falling 128-125 at the Toyota Sports Center while snapping a four-game win streak. |

my understanding was he was very young, hence fairly low level position....class move by organization. |

D-Fenders Fall In Down-to-the-Wire D-League Finals Rematch
Quote: | Eight months after coming up just short in the D-League Finals, the D-Fenders finally had their shot at vengeance against the Sioux Falls Skyforce. But the reigning champs managed to shed Los Angeles off in the final seconds. With the game tied, Josh Magette seemed to be fouled on a shot, but no whistle was blown. Instead Sioux Falls’ Briante Weber took it all the way to the other basket for the go-ahead score with 3.3 seconds left, as the D-Fenders fell, 128-125. |

Lakers reassigned Ivica Zubac to D-Fenders. With Lakers at home, this has become norm for him to go back and forth |

Zubac is looking pretty good on offense...saw him drain a 3 pointer and swish a hook shot on back 2 back possessions in the 2ndQ....but he does not appear to give much effort on defense. |

Refs called a bunch of tick-tack fouls on him in his first few games so he's a little tentative. All-in-all it's a good learning experience for him though.
11 points 4 rebounds @ halftime
