SB Lakers throttle the NA Suns 118 - 89 in pre-season tilt

Jemerrio Jones was the lone player to achieve a double-double, as he recorded 12 points on 6-of-11 shooting and 12 rebounds. Derrick Griffin (14 points) and Marcus Allen (11 points) also saw double figures for the Lakers.
After falling behind 12-0, South Bay quickly closed to within two, going on a 14-2 run over the next five minutes. The Suns led after the first quarter 31-29 and saw their last lead of the game at 41-40 with 6:42 remaining in the second quarter.
It was all South Bay from there, who outscored Northern Arizona 90-58 over the final three quarters, even taking a 37-point lead in the last minute of the game. |

South Bay Falls to Stockton in First Game of the Season

Nice stat line for Bonga. Hope he was as good as it indicates. Saw very little of the game. Either way it鈥檚 a far cry from what we saw in the Summer League!
