Have to admit I was bored too.

Too bad Upshaw got frustrated over that bad call. He started out fine but he needs to learn how to play smart plus his basketball IQ is low. I wanted to see more of him.

Wouldn't mind adding a veteran presence like Gomes in the coming season. He can still play. Would prefer him to MWP at the moment.

Refs called a ticky-tack BS foul on him and he kind of got PO'ed.

I struggle to understand D-League. First, we need a one to one relationship for every team in the league. It appears we only have about 10 guys on our roster currently, which seems lower than earlier in the season. How did we trade Frazier to Iowa for Kendrick Perry who is playing in Hungary?

The league should expand (NBA) rosters to 16 after the all-star break, and require a minimum of two 10 day call ups (same player or multiple). Force teams to atleast get a look in a few practices at these guys. Things like this may cause a few guys to stay stateside.

Adam Silver recently said they will be greatly expanding the role of the D-League in the very near future.

They are going to massively increase the salaries, add a 3rd round to the NBA draft, and add a new type of contract that allows for more flexibility in retaining talent but letting them play in the D-League to develop.

A bunch of NBA teams have just been adding D-League affiliates this last year and more are coming next year, so it's happening pretty quick.

Jordan McRae (who scored 61 in a D-League game earlier this week) goes for 12 points/4 assists in his NBA debut last night.

It's good to see him find some success on the NBA level. Seems like he's a keeper for the Suns. Scoring-wise, he has it. His defensive issues can be fixed.

Tarik Black: Assigned to D-League
(will play tonight vs OKC Blue)
Quote:
Tarik Black has been assigned to the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA D-League.
Black's playing time with the Lakers has waned of late, as he's averaged just five minutes per game over his last five outings. He'll join the Lakers' D-League affiliate and is expected to play Saturday against the Oklahoma City Blue.

I swear Tarik is going to refuse a contract and take his qualifying offer just to escape this franchise. He doesn't deserve the D-League. He's the best center on our roster.

Yea Gomes can still play.

Gomes, Blue and Maggette are ballers!

I'd take Magette over Huertas.
