..it's tradition.
I know there are a few brave souls who venture out and partake in the "festivities"... but I'm a maniac Thursday - Monday with the online shopping.
Got a look at some leaked Black Friday ads (blackfriday.com) and Target is going to have their usual 40% off apparel. I usually get all the kids in the family some PJs and an outfit or 2. I'll have the items in my cart a few days in advance and just checkout, making things super easy.
They also have the PS4 / Uncharted bundle for $299. Didnt even realize the PS4 price dropped to 350 last month. The Star Wars bundle is $350 right now! My brother-in-law gets 15% off there, so I'm most likely picking that up next week.
Might be looking to upgrade our living room TV. The UHD TVs are nice, but I know content is limited right now. Anyway, I am certain I can find a nice LED 50-55" for under 5 bills. (Although Best Buy has an LG 49" 4K Tv at $499)
Also might be looking for an external HD.
Let's share deals and wishlist items on here... _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

Haven't seen much deals this year...its great if you are in the market for a budget TV, as there seems to be some rock bottom prices for a TV under $500. Honestly, there is so much discounting on cheap electronics where its probably not worth it to line up and brave the crowds to save an extra $50. I know people used to line up for a budget laptop for around $200, but now theres so many budget laptops out there its not worth the hassle. |

I'm looking at the 79" LG that Best Buy has..
But I will be in Vegas, so I will be hitting up a Best Buy there... _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

Deals on black Friday aren't even that great. Most of the stuff is garbage low quality stuff that was never sold that year anyway. Seeing people kill each other over a few bucks is one of most pathetic things ever. Avoid the cast of dawn of the dead and spend time with your families.
Sorry end of rant.
Look online for the same if not better deals. Slickdeals or techbargain will do the job. Avoid the cast of dawn of the dead type of and spend time with your families. _________________ Don't let perfect be the enemy of good |

Read that Walmart was the king of Black Friday due to their buying power....I guess they make great viral youtube videos every Black Friday as well. |

Taking a look at the Black Friday ads so far, I really only see good deals from Walmart. Most sane people probably wouldn't line up for that madhouse. |

I took pics of all the items and ”collaged" it into 1 pic and posted it onto FB. Had my friends and fam do the same and I got about 10 hits in the first day. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

A coworker of mine lined up at 11am on Thanksgiving morning to get into the store (Walmart or target, can't recall) at 6pm last year. He got a 65” TV. I would never waste my day like that. My time with my family is worth more than the couple hundred bucks in ”savings”.
That being said, I DO have my laptop/phone with me throughout the day checking Amazons lightning deals and what have u. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

Anyone seen any deals on a Surface Pro 4? About the only thing I need that is expensive enough to be discounted enough to make it worth the effort. |

Black Friday = Manufactured marketing madness that reveals Corporate America knows there are a whole lot of idiot consumers to take advantage of. |

As an employee at a major retail store, I thoroughly despise Black Friday. I can only pray to God that my time off request to go back to SoCal for thanksgiving is honored. I can't deal with that (bleep) |

We give thanks for everything we have only to rush to a Best Buy a couple of hours later to get as much as we can. And and good 80% of that stuff aren't even x-mas gifts for other people. |

Bought Until Dawn for PS4 for $20. And WWE 2k16 for $30. Both at bestbuy.com. Seems like all of best buy's black friday deals are up.
Also picked up a $25 fire tv stick from Amazon. And Batman Arkham Knight premium edition for $16 at Amazon. Which included all the season pass DLC. That deal went quick though it was dead in like 30 minutes. |

Best Buy will have a $149 Toshiba 49" LED TV. In-store only. I'd buy it but I don't want to go with the masses. Just the thought stresses me out. Plus, I have too many TVs already. |

Can you elaborate? You're a marketer (i think...), so I am interested in why you think that. |

I tried going to Best Buy once on Black Friday....never again, I think they have like 10 of the doorbuster TV's and there was something like 500 people in line... |
