last 6 games I think. Ever since Scott finally changed the lineups.

Defense improves, but offensive numbers go down. I think this has a lot to do with Williams and Randle's play.

Randle has been struggling offensively and Williams hasn't been the same ever since he injured his finger.

The METTA EFFECT

The DEFENSE has definitely starting to kick in.

was not a thing of beauty, but impressed with the fact we played 4 quarters without any total lapses. Effort on defense was key.

Not liking Randle's body language on the court and is selfish as hell. I hope I'm wrong but all the praise he got early on has gone to his head. Russell should be telling him to shut the hell up every time he waves him off. He's not even a poor man's Lamar Odom right now.

I liked Clarkson more this game. He played a well balanced offensive game despite making a few boneheaded drives.

Both Randle and Clarkson both need to be in the film room watching defensive possessions. Kobe needs to teach Clarkson some defensive techniques because he gets blown by constantly which is inexcusable with his athleticism.

Russell needs to be way more aggressive. He should be calling for screens every time he brings the ball up the court even if players are not doing it already(which they should) and not just dumping it off to another player.

Kobe seems to be coaching these guys up often. I think he does film with Randle and Russell, we need JC to hit those film sessions too

Effort on defense was key all right, although adding a couple more vets led to a little less seeing people totally lost out there.

And then there's Nance. He seems to have a knack for where the ball is going. He might make mistakes but he's got the range and athleticism to recover and make a solid play.

Yes Nance has been great defensively and his offense has improved. Really a nice draft pick by the FO.

Incremental improvement is all I ask.

Some stuff looked pretty messy, but at least there was a semblance of defense there.

I do hope to see Russell get more time though, even if it ends up in a loss. I think he's got a good head on his shoulders and really just needs more burn so that he can improve.

Randle's coming off as an a-hole a lot of the time. Not that good of a player.

Love him or hate him, Nick Young brought it this year. Through all Byron's criticisms and stuff, Nick actually went and put it into practice and he is bringing it this year. It says a lot about Nick and how serious he DOES take the game despite his personality. In many ways he's that "Lamar" role for us. Particularly in the rough times.

For me,
What a joyless, valuless victory
Veteran heavy game.
No real development.
Not very entertaining.
No DLO in 4th

Only enjoyment was some of JCs play and NANCE.
Nice performance for Kobe too.

To be honest, most of the credit should go to Nance.

I see the same thing about Randle. I especially hate how he plays with DLO.
Tbh, Nance is starting to outplay him

Good game!

The team:
- rebound well, everyone put effort on the board
- play defense, hold Detroit to 0.365 field goal rate and 85 points
- patient and move the ball well, 26 assists

Players:
Hibbert: Hibbert is more involved
Randle: rebounds and do the little things well
Kobe: set up for teammates
Clarkson: very good team player. Doesn't take forced shots
Russell: find good balance in running plays, score and rebound

Nance: defense, rebound well and also score
MWP: defense captain
Young: hit shots and also do little things
Lou: take less shots and do more little things
Bass: good role player

Everyone play diffense, rebound, move the ball and do little things. Very good team play. The youths adjust first, so do Kobe and Lou this game. Great team work
