At least Houston has the balls to fire their coach after a disappointing start. Yeah I know, different team, different expectations. But I just want Byron gone.
Mchale did really well last year. What's with you in liking bad coaches? First Byron, now McFail?
McHale was a huge part of the reason the Rockets are completely sucking right now. Yeah the players lack of effort aren't doing them any favors either but it's also on the Coach to make sure he and the players are on the same page.
And clearly, as we just heard the news now, they were not on the same page. McHale lost them, and now the only correct decision was to fire him and get someone else that will be on board with them. They will NOT sit on their thumbs and wait for stuff to happen like the Lakers FO our doing right now, if they aren't winning, changes will happen. Something the Lakers FO doesn't seem to know or want to do right now.
Like the Lakers, the Rockets are loaded with talent, but need a coach to set them on the right track. Rockets fans have been calling for McHale's head for the past year and a half, even after their WCF run. They finally got their wish.
