If we get out-rebounded some more? We're the 3rd worst team in the league in rebounding differential. How many more games do you need until you figure this out? I'm one of the biggest small ball advocates here, and even I think Bass at the 5 is stupid.

This is so dumb.

We're the only team that didn't attend the analytics conference and it is SHOWING.

There were actually apologists stating how it didn't matter that we didn't have a rep there...that in fact the Lakers indeed have a robust analytics staff. As laughable then as it is now.

I have really wanted to give Scott the benefit of the doubt, but it has gotten to the point where it's impossible.

On the bright side, it's nice that he's finally embracing technology. I hear he was using this in yesterday's film session.

I actually was able to find footage of the film session Byron put together:

Must be a fake. He's gone totally high tech.

He's been using this for musical accompaniment. Ya know, it gets the kids going because they think it's a rad sound.

I'm surprised the film is in color.

On the plus side, if Bass was going to take away time from somebody I'd rather it be Black, Kelly, and Sacre than Nance.

Well, to be fair, Bass and Black are roughly the same size. Black is about an inch taller; they weigh the same; and have identical wingspans.

Both of them are more suited to power forward than center.

Whatever they are listed at, Black is clearly 10-15 lbs heavier and much stronger.

Hard for me to get worked up about this one.

Personally, I'd prefer Nance to get more time, but I am indifferent about Black vs. Bass. I don't think overall you really get that much more with one than the other.

I can't even be mad anymore. Byron is so stunted that I just can't help but laugh now.

Everybody would think Byron is tanking, but this is what Byron really thinks, this is how Byron actually tries to win.

I just...I can't.

That's a given. I knew before the season started we'd be one of the worst rebounding teams in the league. I don't know if we have one player on the roster I'd call a strong rebounder.

He's not really a stretch 4. He has a good mid-range shot, but not really 3-point range. Bass is just an all-around solid NBA journeyman.

Personally, I would have preferred to have Ed Davis at backup Center...

I wish the Blazers would do a Lou Will/Bass for Ed Davis swap lol. That would solve two problems at once haha

What I pretty much thought right away. It's a total non-statement. I won't get up in the morning unless the sun comes up.
