Ok, I know I'm not the only one, but I officially have lost all feeling for this organization/team. It kills me to admit that I've become numb to this entire fiasco. I don't want the team to tank and I no longer get upset when they lose. As a 15+ year fan, I feel nothing.
I don't feel much either. I try to focus on the developement of the young players and that's it. Winning or losing doesn't affect me that much anymore.
I'm still enjoying the season, primarily just watching the young kids mature. The Lakers have an awful record so far, but most of the games have been entertaining.

I was watching yesterday feeling nothing, I am expecting losses but they don't hurt anymore. My whole focus when watching is the development of our young guys Clarkson, Randle, Russell and I've also added Nance to the list. Nothing else really matters. I wish they could play 40 min each.
I still wear my laker gear every where I go. Weather it's a t shirt or a hat or a sweatshirt. I use to get props for the different style of shirts that I have. Now I get none. I see more clipper stuff roaming about. It's kind of sad really. Sad in the sense that we have turned into the Cletics of the 90's or the Knicks of the 2000's.
I don't mind the losses, but I'm way more interested in games now than I have been the last two years. I actually look forward to watching now rather than feeling like it's an ordeal to be endured. I'm excited to see what the rookies (including Randle) do. They haven't been amazing so far, but I still like seeing it when they do pretty much anything. Unlike the last couple of seasons, I haven't dozed off during a game yet.

I find that I am content right now. It's been a roller coaster the past few seasons. Rooting for them to win. Then rooting for them to lose. Now, I don't really know what I want (winning helps our off-season free agent acquisitions, but losing helps our draft positioning). Thus, I just focus on the young guys and continue to find a glimmer of hope / future in them.
Last nights game was the first time I've seen that hope in DLo. _________________ Don't make me give you a trout slap!

What is there left at this point?
You cannot put your finger on it now, the child is grown, the team is gone.
Hello! Is there anybody in there!

The moment Kobe was re-signed to that bloated contract, not that the current state is entirely a result of that, I knew we were locked in for two mostly wasted seasons, and cancelled my satellite subscription. Maybe there's some individual development value for the young players, getting their feet wet and such, but as far as building continuity and establishing good habits it's a complete waste.
It's called rebuilding people. We are so spoiled. It's a process.
Enjoy watching the young guys develop and be happy that Kobe and Byron will be gone next year. We have the most cap space in the league and one of the best GMs in the league.
We are far from a lost cause, especially if we get a top 3 pick again.
Relax and enjoy the process. Every NBA team goes through lulls.
Be happy we arent the Nets who have some bad contracts on their books and very few draft picks in the next 5 years.
We have no major bad contracts on our books. (Young and Williams are small contracts in the new NBA)
Complain about Byron all you want, but its not like this is a wasted season. Our young guys will grow and enjoy their progress.

The contract used to upset me. But now I wonder if any stars would've filled the salary gap. When Kobe signed that contract we were losing allstar big men left and right.
Kobe's staying elite for over a decade maybe blinded us. We've been overdue for a rebuild. With the current CBA, it's not as easy to "reload" with all star free agents stolen from other teams.
Sure Aldridge left Portland for SA, and Dwight left us for Houston. But they both went to a state with no income tax. So they didn't lose alot of money for leaving their teams. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

Are they learning good habits or bad out there?
They are learning good work ethic habits and getting experience playing in NBA games.
Is it ideal? No. Byron is horrible. But he won't be the coach much longer. I want him to be fired as much as the next guy, but it could be worse.
At the end of the day, all is not lost. We have a good young core and a bright future. Just enjoy the young guys and dont care about wins. They are pointless anyway and frankly detrimental.
When you have the strong potential for being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs in December, it should piss you off. _________________ "We are the goodest." - Shaq ESPN interview
The losses haven't bothered me the last 3 seasons.
What bothers me now is how badly our front office has misread their free agency and team building choices.
Jordan Hill, Nick Young, and Carlos Boozer signings last year? Lou Williams, Brandon Bass, and Huertas this year?
Not even trying to resign Bazemore or Ed Davis, passing on Whiteside despite having him under contract.
Completely whiffing on every major free agent as they misread what is actually important to those players.
Rather than just accept that the team will be terrible and that they should focus on the youth, they've tried to sort of half-compete with these "veteran" signings. They looked desperate and of course it completely failed.
It's not a good sign at all. _________________ You are either in or on your way to the NBA Finals.

This is exactly how I feel at this point. I do really like all the young guys and I'm excited for their development, but the losses don't hurt anymore.
I've cried tears of joy and happiness over our Lakers and it honestly kills me to flat-out feel nothing nowadays.
