Scott is basically echoing ownership's sentiment. How stupid this ownership must be, thinking people would pay to see this version of Kobe playing on a .200 team. Well, either that or Kobe and Scott r playing good cop bad cop routine

It's a waste year, might as well make this season be a Kobe's farewell tour.

Kobe 1-14 tonight with only 4 points.

Make it end Byron, or he'll get to 1-20 for being here 20 years.

Tonight the kids learn how to wedge a ball between the rim and the backboard from 20 feet. Invaluable stuff.

Heh, the last person to make one or fewer field goals while attempting 14 or more was … Kobe Bryant.

Kobe is saying he could go out and score 35 a game but what would be the point.

Ok, he has gone full dementia status.

He said he doesn't do it because even if he did they'd be 3-11 so he's not doing it for the sake of the kids.

That is such BS. He really needs to wake up.

He said he wasn't going to linger around and he's doing it. This is textbook for an aging star. They start to say things that will have you rolling your eyes. It even happened to Magic when he wanted to come back in 97 after tasting basketball again in 96, and he wanted to be the main point guard. LA Times said sources say "eyes rolling." Lakers and Magic decided not to do it.

Honestly, this is very bush league now. So he's saying his teammates are trash.

well, let's consider that...
he scored 4 pts on 14 shots tonight

based on that, he'd need 122.5 shots to score 35

like that wide open layup he missed. Do they get any easier than wide open from 2 feet?

inquiring minds want to know

Between Kobe's chucking and Byron's coaching it's really hard for me to find a reason to watch anymore games. We're losing AND the kids aren't getting much in the way of on court development.
