Quote: | An 8-year-old girl who was behind the wheel of a car — with her grandfather in a passenger seat . . . Cadence, who the patrol said wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Many took to Facebook, with many posts critical of how an 8-year-old would be allowed to drive a vehicle in the first place.
Cadence’s mother, Brittany Nicole Orcutt, took to Facebook to speak to those who were commenting on the tragedy.
“For all the judgmental people saying bad things about me and my parenting skills, there’s one thing you all should know — I would have absolutely never let my daughter drive on one gravel road." |
Apparently, according to Mom, the issue is not the fact that she was driving, but that it was on a gravel road.
Quote: | “I will never hear her voice or hold her extra tight like I did. I had so many hopes and dreams for my baby. She is the smartest, most beautiful, athletic, loving princess in the world." |
Clearly not a trait she got from her Mother and Grandfather.
Quote: | “I don’t know why things happen, but my princess spent the morning in church worshiping God and there’s no doubt in my mind he knew he needed her home with him. …"
|
Yeah, that's what happened. God saw an innocent 8 year old girl and just decided he "needed her". It had nothing to do the insanely stupid decisions made by the adults responsible for her well being . . . Wait, maybe God was on to something. He probably figured out she was better off "with him" than she was with her mother and he took her before her mom could ask her to change the blades on the woodchipper while it was still plugged in. |

and Byron. |
In that Byron has also tasked a child to drive us down a gravel road hanging precariously over an embankment.
Not to make too much light of the situation. I could not possibly have more disgust for so-called adults who harm children (or even other people in general) with their insane stupidity. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL
