No matter who the coach is, Byron or no Byron, losing like this will create a lot of internal problems. You can't believe a message if it's failing miserably in practice. I expect things to get worse and worse in terms of players and coaches showing frustration publicly.

Eventually, you'll face mutiny and get to a breaking point. Just how it goes.

That's why I doubt Scott makes it through the season. I doubt the Lakers hire anyone else to replace him, it'll be one of the assistants taking over as interim coach, but I can't see Scott making it though another season of historically bad Laker play.

I think he's officially lost the lockerroom.

Kobe is on the cusp of going against his buddy.

Swaggy of all people, rightfully came out in the media.

DLO is confused about his role and minutes.

Etc.

I saw some frustrated bickering last night for the first time with Clarkson and DLO. Not with each other, but in both situations you could tell they were frustrated because they didn't know what to do defensively. Curry went around Clarkson and he turned and pointed to the floor and seemed to indicate that he thought someone should be there but they weren't. They should have a better idea what they are doing by this point in the season, you have to wonder how they are spending practice time.

Randle looked flat out pissed in the second half, and channeled it the correct way, he hustled his ass off on defense and ripped down every rebound instead of just grabbing them. On one rebound blockout he shoved Bogut and sent him flying about 5 feet across the floor. I hope the guy gets pissed every game and shows that kind of intensity.

Poor Hibbert. That guy was frustrated weeks ago.

Young's been our most consistent player on both ends of the court.... let that sink in for a second

has any media commented on how hard/not hard Byron Scott works as the head coach? I mean we've already had one reporter comment on DLO's work ethic.

Scott has been known to hit the golf course harder than watching film, etc. Wouldn't that be the irony. And where's the accountability there?

Both he and his team do not look prepared at all.

He's turned in a couple of no-impact games and last night was yet another which was surprising. He usually brings some ammo to such games. He gave up on a loose ball late in the game and I don't think he's gotten back enough leash for it not to be pointed out in the film session. He loses focus.

Even Carlos Boozer of all people complained about Scott. Guys like Lin/Davis are classier and have kept silent about Scott, but no doubt were frustrated (Lin/Davis P&R should have been our #1 play)

The storm is here Mr Wayne. Byron won't be here much longer. The guys has taken a youthful jovial team and made them confused and angry

Even if they are prepared (which they are not) and you lose games, the message gets lost. Riley lost the Lakers despite preparing them like no other because it wasn't working with that particular set of players.

That's the thing about coaching... you have to figure out what works for your roster and implement it. You can't be so obstinate about your system that you want to implement it regardless of overwhelming data that shows it's not appropriate.

Not to mention that Scott doesn't sell his vision at all to his players so they don't get the big picture... there has to be something that the team and each player is striving for. Only then will short term failure be tolerated AS LONG AS progress towards the long term goal happens in a timely fashion AND the short term sacrifices are acceptable to the key components of the organization.

It's just a train wreck in every way possible so far.

I saw the same. I can rebember a couple of times where Clarkson losed his man because Roy was used as screen by the opponent. The effort was there, but guys didn't know what to do. It's up to coach to put players in condition to succeed. Every time Clarkson or Randle drove to the basket they found a Warrior waiting and other chasing.

In the last game, I saw DLO overly hedge on the P&R but the help defender also did too, leaving the lane wide open. Obvious communication issues on defense coming from the head coach. Everyone is confused out there. Guys like JC/DLO/Randle/Hibbert are putting forth defensive effort but the system seems to be confusing everyone.

This is going to be a colossal mess for the next coach. It also doesn't help that we have a power struggle going on upstairs. As much as we want Luke or Becky or whoever, this FO needs to get its act together and actually form a united front and get on the same page.

This was my fear from SPL through preseason and now it's being solidified. Silk is right, the culture is beginning to inhale toxic fumes.

Definately. This tanking comedy has to stop if we don't want to become the 76ers west. We have to win games even if that means losing the pick by one spot I don't care.

No free agent will consider us if we don't show any improvement over what was already a disaster of a season last year.

Honestly I'am waiting for some BREAKING NEWS.

No free agent will want to play for Scott.

Ask Bass/Lou/Hibbert how things have gone for them. (remember Scott was complaining about not having enough talent).

It may be a short and small stack.

This is really turning out to be a disaster. The only one who seems to unaware that this is falling apart is Byron and his former teammates.

The two games we won this year Worthy was doing his stupid little dance in the studio. I wanted to knock him on his ass both times.

This is now an Official TANK season. If they wanted to make a change they would have done it before 10 games.

Its Ben Simmons or bust.
