Listen I'll be a happy camper if we go 12-70, draft Simmons, sign DeRozan and Whiteside and get a new innovative coach. We'll be back in a heartbeat. |

Thats a lot of things that have to go right. The only one that has a pretty good shot is our final record. _________________ *sighs*

Keeping the Top 3 pick would be the only salvageable thing to come from enduring Byron. _________________ We back. |

And lord help us if we had to endure Scott and this season, and we get the 4th pick (to the 76ers). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

It's never fun to lose. It creates division in the locker room. Eventually leading to a "I'm gonna get mine" attitude with lots of the players. _________________ Music is my medicine |

How long did it take the Cavs to break Kyrie of all the bad habits he learned under Byron? |

Well right after Byron, they had Mike Brown at helm(again) so....
Kyrie turned out fine though, and I'm sure D'angelo will as well. |

I've never been so embarrased by a Laker team in all of my 45 years on this planet. Just start the Team Tank thread today, this is a lottery team without question. This organization has become a flat out disaster in less than 3 years!!! |

By tanking we'd pretty much have to ruin our existing picks, which isn't far from what we're doing now. I don't see it continuing unless they're totally afraid of the Showtime Cartel and Camp Kobe. The FO is going to have to step in and make hard changes. |

Don't mess with the Showtime Cartel |
Ironically, Magic is wearing the same expression that drapes across my mug every time Bass enters the game. _________________ We back. |

What do you suggest that they do? It seems to me that every decision they make sends us circling further down the drain. This team hardly has any redeeming qualities outside of Randle & Clarkson. Trying to win at this point is just a waste of time, the only team in the NBA worse than us hasn't won a game yet. We are 13 games into the season and for Laker fans it's already over....I mean there is absolutely no reason to watch or attend any more games. |

No free agent will consider us if we don't show any improvement over what was already a disaster of a season last year.
Honestly I'm waiting for some BREAKING NEWS. |
Agreed on all points. |

Cut Kobe's minutes in half, basically bench him without "benching" him, and completely junk the triangle and Princeton sets. It would have to be an order from above since Byron is too loyal to ever do it. If Byron refuses you fire him. If Kobe refuses you give him the chance to retire or threaten to waive him. |

Our strength of schedule was 29th for the first 10 games or so, so we haven't even faced our toughest opponents yet. |

I generally don't subscribe to this theory, as a pro tanker. But when the team is void of leadership, the locker room has a real shot of becoming toxic in a few different ways.
I still think that there's new hope at the beginning of each year, especially with a new coach. If he's a good leader, i don't see problems lingering or spilling over. |

This infatuation with DeRozen has me more puzzled than why Byron Scott is still the head coach and why Kobe Bryant is still shootng 3's. DeRozen is hot duck butter garbage, unless he is a role player for 5-7 million. Lakers have enough of those to fill an entire roster. Lakers need difference makers and a system that is adaptable. _________________ Because we're better than you! |
