Absorb his post game press conference. Kobe is an amazing person. People can learn a lot from him. _________________ "The best there is. The best there was. The best there ever will be.", said Bret Hart regarding the Los Angeles Lakers. |

I thought the same thing |
Why risk a foul when chances are high it's going to miss. That's a tough deep 3, from a guy who hasn't been efficient from there at all. |
Because he just drilled one on you. He didn't even stick a hand up or attempt to close in any way, shape or form, he was giving him a clean look for no reason |
Sure. But he also missed like 85 percent of his attempts. You don't need to try to block it.
I agree, he didn't really try to defend it but it was more of a heave than a set shot again, from someone who misses way more than they make so he's just playing the smart math. He's a great defender, George is. |
Whatever floats your anti-Kobe agenda man. _________________ “Power resides only where men believe it resides...A shadow on the wall, yet shadows can kill. And ofttimes a very small man can cast a very large shadow.” - GRRM |

I was at the game. it was brutal to watch a team (Pacers) run an offense... and then watch our guys fumble around with whatever Byron calls what he attempts to have the Lakers run.
We seem to have 3 offensive sets we run.
PnR which is most effective imo.
Some kind of princeton with the wings
Double Screen at the top of the circle.
Then when Kobe's in.. its a triangle.
Most guys stand around while someone jacks up a shot. I mean.. my goodness.. we were shooting 22% in the first half.
Then we have our defense.. it appears to be modeled after GSW's switch 1-4. which is fine until someone gets beat and there is a man wide open because we don't know how to rotate defensively. must have happened 10 times.
still..I had fun at the game we had a chance.. that Kobe 3 at the end there was ridiculous. |

Another poor start from the Lakers so the Pacers took advantage of that and always were ahead with a big lead. The Lakers done well to come back and if Kobe's last shot went in then it could have been a win. If the Lakers can start games better then getting wins will be more realistic. |

I don't care anymore about Kobe's FG%. I care about the fact that he now accepts he just isnt the player he was and can't do it anymore. I care about that. So i will swallow my tongue because this is the last time we see him play. I wish i could get a ticket, the Lakers come to DC on Wednesday and I had not planned on going, now i really regret I wont be going. We tanking for a higher pick, and hoping we can get a FA who wants to come and make the Lakers HIS team!!!!! You also know that Byron will be fired after this season. So lets just grin and bare it. #Mamba #GreatestLaker #CountDownToRetirement _________________ New Beginings |

I guess there's no use to complaint about Kobe shooting anymore. I feel bad for him, he's embarrassing himself out there and if he shoots a little better we would have won. Better for the tank I guess.
Byron is playing Kobe too much minutes. No one wants him to break before the season ends, he should reduce this minutes a little. I agreed with playing Artest and Nick down the stretch with Dlo in the bench but when Artest fouled out and we needed 3s, why the heck did he put Bass in instead of Dlo?
Randle played well (he always does at home it seems) but he has to improve this tunnel vision of his. Clarkson was amazing and should have more shots. Nick is what he is, when he's hitting he could be a great asset specially because our offense is basically ISO. |
