Fun game and fitting for the night. Love how Clarkson played and nice shooting from Swaggy. |

yep. They showed something for a while there
build on that, they might do better going forward |
That might mean no Russell though. |

I dunno. It didn't feel like the Lakers really fought as much as it was the Pacers just lost interest. |

Sloppy 1st half but outscored the Pacers in the second half. Gritty performance and good effort. Hope it carries over while we're on the road. |

Russell did pretty good in parts of that comeback
That comeback showed we can do with a lot less Kobe and a lot less MWP _________________ LBJ + AD = More rings

We're not making those miracle threes every game. There was a lot of luck on our part. |

Well I wanted a win but the beginning of this game was such a total joke business that I'm just happy they were able to come back and make it look like a real NBA basketball game. Particularly I was really dejected after that nonsensical substitution of taking people who are hot out in etc. That they came back and made it a game was fun. . But we might have won if BScott had left the lineup well enough alone at that point |

I'm glad that the team fought back and made it competitive till the end. I did scream and then lol at that airball. I gotta admit Kobe had me at the edge of my seat thinking he brought some of that old magic back. I don't mind the losing as long as we're competitive. Nightly beatdowns by double digits really isn't fun |

Exactly how I feel. The only positive I got from this game is that the players scrapped the offense and just freelanced. _________________ Don't let perfect be the enemy of good |

Not gonna lie, it kinda looked like George wanted Kobe to hit that shot. He didn't really put much effort into that contest _________________ “Power resides only where men believe it resides...A shadow on the wall, yet shadows can kill. Yeah and its not like we were playing great D. We got a favorable overturned call that should have been FTs, Pacers just throwing the ball out of bounds for no reason, I mean, they got sloppy. |

And Kobe/Metta at that point? Just because they made some lucky 3s at the end doesn't justify benching Russ for those master masons. _________________ Don't let perfect be the enemy of good |

Oh I agree on that point, but it was probably one Byron less boggling benchings, even if he should have been in there |

The Pacers seemed to have stopped playing and I'm sure they wouldn't have minded if the Lakers won tonight's game because of the Kobe retirement announcement.
I think that and a combination of Nick's three's made it a game. |

Why risk a foul when chances are high it's going to miss. That's a tough deep 3, from a guy who hasn't been efficient from there at all. |

Wow, Horry telling Kobe he's making it harder on himself and he needs to quit with the pump fakes and just shoot the ball when you get it. |

Because he just drilled one on you. He didn't even stick a hand up or attempt to close in any way, shape or form, he was giving him a clean look for no reason _________________ “Power resides only where men believe it resides...A shadow on the wall, yet shadows can kill. Lakers fought hard in the 2nd half, slowed the game down and almost came all the way back good effort. Pacers struggled mightily but won for the 11th time in the last 13 after an 0-3 start on the season. PG had a strong 2nd half scoring 29 of the Pacers last 59 points.
Was Paul's best game vs the Lakers in Staples center finishing with 39 his previous high vs the Lakers in Staples was 14. |

Sure. But he also missed like 85 percent of his attempts. You don't need to try to block it.
I agree, he didn't really try to defend it but it was more of a heave than a set shot again, from someone who misses way more than they make so he's just playing the smart math. He's a great defender, George is. |
