I like it. CGI isn't great but the story seems decent, so far. Based on the novels by James S.A. Corey which I haven't read. Only 4 episodes for now, 6 more come January to complete the 1st season.

Watched the first two episodes. So far it has been pretty true to the book and I have enjoyed it.

I had to watch to first 2 episodes a second time cause I was kinda drunk the first go around and had no idea what was going on. It does start out pretty slow but it starts picking up in the 3rd episode.

Think this might be a real winner for SyFy. Might be their best show since BSG.

Halfway through ep 2. I'm not really sure what's going on. I get that there's a labor class who are on the verge of revolt. Tom Jane is some type of police detective who enforces the law for the upper class but is conflicted. The mean Iranian lady with the heavy smoker voice is some type of government enforcer. Not sure what the deal is with the crew of the ship that went to investigate the derelict ship, who blew them up, or why.

CGI is pretty impressive for TV.

This is becoming a Damn Excellent Show.

"Labor Class" are Belters that live on a Space Station near an asteroid belt they mine. They are not so much a class as the natives of an Earth Colony that with genetic drift are becoming their own subspecies.

Tom Jane enforces the law of Earth( not some non-existent Belter upper class) but is a native Belter with typical Belter congenital defects. His partner is from Earth like many of the administrators/white collar workers.

The "mean Iranian lady" is an Indian lady named Chrisjen Avasarala, U.N. Deputy Undersecretary of Executive Administration. She is trying to prevent a Cold War between Earth and Mars turning Hot. By any means necessary.

If you watch episode four you get very good clues as to who blew up the ship and why

The show has me hooked.

I guess no one here is watching this, but I love this show. Renewed for a third season. I had no familiarity with the books or anything, but it is fascinating. I picked up the first book a week ago and it reminds me of Game of Thrones in the characters and politics. Great look, and it is pretty interesting to see actual science reflected in a show, plus it makes me think about how life out there really would be and evolve.

This show is fantastic. One of the best shows of this Spring season. Top current SyFy show for sure but that doesn't say much.

Well I have to watch Fargo tomorrow. Expanse finale comes first. Pretty interesting but didn't blow my mind. Except for Eros storyline on Venus at the end there. I'm not sure what I saw exactly.
