Wood would've been a potential nice big to slide to the perimeter. Comfortable catching and shooting, drawing defenses so he can penetrate and wreck havoc in the lane where he has the length and soft touch to finish or make a play for his teammates.

On D. His length will be tough to score over. He'll get his fair share of rejections. Seems to have good feet, if a little heavy at times. But nothing compared to lumberimg Hibbert. In essence, to land wood would have been a massive upgrade. Fits well beside all the perimeter challenged players like Randle, nance, Mozgov and zubloc.

Wood was a low cost FA signing and should've been a Laker. Who does the front office see us getting better than him? He's basically a short man's Porzingis, but with just as much upside as the Zinger. Tall perimeter PF/C dudes that block shots are a good thing to have! Disappoints me that Wood was signed elsewhere. Damn shame. Really.
