Interesting draft mix. Three 4 year players (JC, nance, brown). Two 1 and done players (DLO and Jules).

Entertaining game - kind of a microcosm of what this year is all about. Kobe flashbacks and the kids flashforwards.

Russell doesnt twist his ankle, Lakers win IMO. Clarkson needs to 'shorten his dribble' as Kenny would say. He turns it over too much in traffic. Randle's shot remains broken and he is a TO machine as well. His rebounding is good, especially at this stage. Hibbert is just awful!! Anyone at center is better, including Bass. Hibbert, 2 Rebounds, while being totally dominated all night. Young core looked good last night, Nance got lost out there last night, but I think that's the exception and not the norm. Kobe looked like Kobe circa 2010. Very entertaining game. Better coach, valuing every possession and Russell not gettting hurt as mentioned, this would have been a victory. Growing pains, these kids will learn how to win!

Hibbert (obviously not a top center) was in No Man's Land.

Cousins is a top tier center (talent-wise) with a dependable 3pt sho and a tough guard for any center. The only way Hibbert can match him is to impose his will on Cousins when he is on offense and the Lakers do not do that

With quick shots and nobody funneling the drivers to Hibbert, little for him to do except run from one side of the court to the other.
