I always thought Durant guarded Kobe better than anyone I've ever seen. Foul or not, bad play to begin with.

That's because he didn't guard the prime Kobe who was way faster. He guarded the older Kobe who lives in the post, durant is super long

okay?

Despite Bryon's yapping, we don't actually run any plays. It's the usual, "get it to this guy" coaching. Just like Mark Jackson and his "let Harrison Barnes iso" down the stretch offense. Like minded, old school morons.

good game
competitive against the #3 team in the West, and probably the #4 team in the league
they played much better as a team the last few games - teamwork and ball movement is waaaayyyyyy better.
Defense and team D still suck of course
baby steps of improvement overall

they're getting to the point where they're going to start winning some against the other bottom half teams, and might be able to steal a few from the top half teams

yea because Lou hasn't missed game winning attempts this season. He has 3 this season he missed.

Someone missed the 4th quarter. Don't deny it.

I watched the game with everyone else but what's your point?

Lou Will would have made the shot because of the quarter he was having?

He missed about 4 shots in a row in the final 2 minutes but let's ignore that.

At least the last two nights a national audience has seen that we actually have more talent than our record indicates and that we are hampered by horrible coaching and the KFT.

Yup exactly that. Lou got cold in teh last 2 minutes but people will blame KObe for the missed 3 and the layup where he clearly got fouled like it's the only shots that count

Exactly. 1st game of the year Kobe was having the better game but last shot went to Lou

I would have liked to see Lou or JC take that shot. Lou was hot the whole quarter and JC had just hit the big 3. I felt that Lou deserved a chance given his play. Kobe was cold after sitting out much of the 4th.

Why doesn't Kobe get foul calls anymore. I mean that was a clear blatant foul..

Its not even an interpretation type of call where you don;t know if enough body contact made a difference on teh shot. Durant actually hit his wrist hence the shot was short

I don't think anyone is blaming Kobe for anything. Just the sensitive folks think that. He gave it a shot. Got fouled. No call.

I still would have liked to see Lou or JC get that look though. Lou because I thought he deserved it and JC because he had hit that shot.

Kobe was cold. Mainly because Byron sat him.

Clarkson was wide open... easy pass for Kobe. But Kobe wanted to take that shot. Can't blame Byron at all in this game. We have no PF or C that can hit the inside shot or make a consistent mid range shot. So high PnR for the guards is our best play since they're our biggest weapons. You just hope the guards are making good decisions and feeling their shots.

We've looked MUCH better recently. Everything is improving. Heck, even the backside action is getting better. It's not great... but there's progress.

It's almost like other people haven't been wide open during one of Kobes game winning attempts before.

This team will NOT be in the lottery by the end of the year. They are starting to believe they can play with anyone which will start to translate into wins.

This is the better way to go. I'd rather score better in the FA market than get another lottery pick. Let the sixers have it.

We're already loaded with rookies that will make an impact. Time to get some FA's. I want to see the lakers in the playoffs next year. Lakers have holes to fill at the 3 and 5 for starters.

This is why he didn't get the call...
