In Southern California, with OG Mexican joints like Alberto's and derivatives of it (Alerto's, Jose's, Aliberto's)...it's inexcusable to go to Chipotle. |

other than for gym bros who are trying to meet their macros on proteins on the cheap, i've never understood why people like chipotle.
it doesn't actually taste good or like real mexican food. |

Haven't been back to Chipotle.coli for about a year now, the various customization options were helpful when tracking nutritional intake, but eventually got tired of it. Still haven't gotten tired of the food at the Cemitas Poblanas trucks, it's not the healthiest fare but it tastes much better. |

I thought I was the only one doesn't like Chipotle. I much rather prefer an authentic mexican restaurant |

Other than the giant servings, the food is rather plain. I'm guessing it being organic is a big selling point, but with the e.coli scare its probably not worth going there even if you are a fan until they figure out the source. |

Just don't think of it as Mexican food. It's still good, but you can't compare it to authentic Mexican. Two totally different things |

The organic thing has no bearing on the minds of the youth and their infatuation w chipotle. It's simply the mounds of cheese, sour cream, guac, above fast food quality meats, even the flour tortilla is solid. That's American Mexican food and the youth loves it. Me included. I can see how it could taste plain without the mounds of toppings. |

The meat is prepared a half hour before you walk in, and they scoop it out |

Chipotle has definitely lost its way in recent years, but comparing it to fast food like McD's, JITB, BK, etc. is way off the mark. |

Exactly. McDonalds, Yack in the Box, BugHer King, & the like are Tier 1 Fast Food Joints in that they can take you from a settled stomach to 'startin to churn' in mere minutes.
Chiplotle's stomach assault isn't quite as acute, which makes it a Tier 2 Fast Food joint that's more comparable to Q'doba or Panda Express in it's intestinal assault proficiency. Tier 2 joints won't make your queasy nearly as quickly as the Tier 1 pet food joints will, and they generally will take almost triple the time to expand your gut to truly impressive proportions. _________________ I'm On point, On task, On message, and Off drugs. I never eat it at home, but when traveling Chipotle is a nice option for a quick healthy meal. |

Rodgers is amazing - So good at scrambling from the pocket with defenders running after him, and getting off good throws. |

What about the bug you have up your ass in regards to Chipotle . . . is that where you ate right before you destroyed that toilet at your friend's house that you told us all about? |
