As noted the Rams were 3-1 last year as well before they fell apart. However, the biggest change from last season is their offensive revolution. They went from having a tough time scoring TD's to leading the league in points scored.

Such a massive difference in a year. This Rams team is for real IMO. Defense only allowed 6 points in the second half and I trust them more than I trusted the Rams offense a year ago after 4 games.

If this team doesn't at least win the division it's a HUGE disappointment.

I was cursing at the defense in the first half for getting pushed all over the field. It looked like it was going to be the Redskins game all over again. Credit to Phillips for the adjustments he made in the second half. Elliott wasn't nearly as effective. I thought Brockers was a standout on defense today.

I am loving what McVay has done for Gurley II so far. Led the Rams today in rushing and receiving yards. Fisher knew he was special too but didn't know how to use him. He probably would have shortened his career trying to pound him into the defensive line. Gotta give it up to the offensive line today as well.

So have the Rams officially won "The Battle for LA"?

Dean Spanos is such a tool. Great hire in McVay by the Rams, they will be peaking right as the new stadium is done. Chargers will be playing half their games in London or Mexico City by that time.

Great win today, but I do still expect some growing pains.
Offense is such a breath of fresh air after 5 years of Fisher-ball.
Some of the guys on D need to step up or kick rocks though. Tru, Ogletree and Quinn especially.

I always felt the Cowgirls were overrated coming into this season but wow did they get flattened. Dak was due for a letdown especially now that his OL lost a key piece in Ronald Leary and teams now have more film and time in the offseason to prep for him. I think the biggest keys to the Rams success has to be McVay and Andrew Whitworth. The running lanes and protection are there and the playcalling has been tailor made to mask Goff's weaknesses. If the defense, which is supposed to be the Rams' bread and butter gels, this team could win the division. Then again, they were 4-1 last year.

It was quite surreal watching the Chargers on offense getting booed by Philly fans in their own stadium. And funny thing was hearing the Fox announcer Dick Stockton mentioning this many times during the game while the FOX cameras showed a sea of Eagles fans.

They were 3-1 last year but then the team lost 4 straight and was 3-5. So it quickly became clear the 3-1 record was a fluke.

Sigh - good defense, and then we fumble the return.

Seattle hasn't been the same since the SB loss.

Seattle's offense is very unremarkable - they're just trudging along...yet they are keeping our defense on the field, and getting them tired.

Seattle is on the downward slope that all teams that were once good are heading towards. They need an infusion of new talent.

They have no business being tied with us. Many fumbles/errors/missed tackles on our part.

Really getting fed up with Ogletree and all his missed tackles. I don't blame the Rams for taking a wait-and-see with his extension.

Crowd looks a lot better than the 1st game vs the Colts. I guess the Rams actually being good is bringing people to the games.

Ughhhh are you kidding me? Can't get the TD, and then miss a chip shot FG.

Rams are imploding. A formerly stout D that was making Wilson look like Ryan Leaf is suddenly giving up cushions. The offense is stalling and that "turnover" by Gurley is due to an archaic and ridiculous rule that needs to be changed this offseason.

What a frustrating game. The Rams are just giving this away.

Terrible throw but definitely affected by getting hit by a lineman on the release.

If they don't get Gurley going the passing game won't open up.

That was probably the back breaker. Can't really be too mad at Whitworth for that breakdown after what he's done this season.
