Pathetic defense by the Rams....49ers recover the onside kick and a chance to win the game.

What happened to our defense?

Can't get stops...they were well on their way to getting a W leading 41-26.

I meant what happened to our defense from last season? Is Wade Phillips overrated?

Felt like watching a high octane college football game.

Well, Aaron Donald held out of training camp and was out the 1st game. I would imagine it will take a couple of games for them to incorporate him into the defensive schemes.

Surprised they didn't lose that one...Nice game by Goff. Could have had 350+ yards if not for the two turnovers at the end.

Did we get a break on that offensive pass-interference? I didn't see much.

I didn't see much either. Would have liked to see it from a different angle though.

You and me both. I was already thinking about facing a co-worker tomorrow who's from the Bay Area. I already got a whole season of basketball and hearing his smack ahead of me.

Are the Rams the best team in the division? Is this article full of bs or is there something to this?

So far their schedule has been against 2 really bad teams and one competent team. I wouldn't draw any conclusions so far other than their offense is much improved. They are definitely a lot easier to watch compared to last year when it felt like a chore to watch a Rams game.

Its pretty bad when most of us think the Manning commercials are the only real highlights for the Colts right now.

The Colts have done a terrible job with their roster for several years now.

It shows how good Luck is that he was able to put that team on his back and actually make the playoffs a couple of times.

Agreed. They failed to bring a viablr RB during the years Luck was rolling. I mean ... Gore?

Gore still managed to get 1000 yards last season and almost there the season before. Contrast that with Trent Richardson. It's just that when Gore was in, Luck was injured.

Not to mention also that the team personnel hasn't really quite fit the transition from a 4-3 to 3-4. Their 2nd CB position is iffy too.

I'm turning into a real Rams fan. Been a diehard Cowboy fan since I was like 5.. Feel kind of guilty becoming such a Ram fan, but this team is turning into a lot of fun. Gurley is amazzzing. Goff is looking like a franchise QB, Watkins is fun, Kupp in the slot. Fun.

Yeah. The schedule is pretty favorable this season compared to last season. We had the Patriots and Falcons in back-to-back games last year. Lucky for us those two losses were the last straw that led to Fisher's firing. We've got the Cowboys next week and the Seahawks the week after.

I do think the NFC West has become the weakest division in the conference. The Seahawks are still better than us but they and the Cards are slipping. I could see us being division champs in the near future.

What an embarrassing defense...Giving up 120 rushing yards before the first half is even over.

No offense, no defense, I think we are beginning to find out where the Rams stand when it comes to playing teams that are considered deep playoff teams.

How was it different than ODBJ's TD last week where he pinned the ball against his helmet and then fell out of bounds in the end zone?

Fortunately, we still got the TD but cost us a final challenge. Hope it doesn't come back to haunt us later in the game.

Nice creative play, Rams up by 2...amazing considering the FG kicker was the primary offense most of the day.

Why didn't they go for 2 there? No benefit to be up 2 instead of 1.
