Twice now, Keenum has to throw over the defense and it goes over the hands of Austin for a pick that leads to a touchdown. They've got two big receivers in Quick and Britt. Use them on that play.

Good time to figure this out.

Keenum is a below average NFL quarterback and should be at best a backup.

Not sure what to think of the last play other than poor communication....I mean the Giants defender was waiting there the entire time to catch the ball.

Rams recent #1 picks:

2016: Goff - Can't break the starting line up over a guy with 4 picks and a rating of 50

2015: Gurley - looked promising but is only averaging 3 yards per carry

2014: Greg Robinson - H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E - Mr. Penalty, two or three holds and a false start today - H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E !!!

2013: Austin - nice catch there earlier - nice hands - difference in game

2012: Brockers - playing well

2011: Quinn - playing well

2010: Bradford - playing well - for another team

Right when I turned the TV on that last INT happened. Wow. Just wow. I know Gurley is struggling, but I think they are using way too many pass plays. Keenum threw like 50 times. He should be a game manager at best.

I work and go to school during the week, so I refuse to get up at 6:30 AM on a Sunday, for an NFL game. I doubt UK fans even care about american football anyway. (bleep) you, NFL.

Between the Dodgers and Rams, there are a lot of choke artists in L.A. sports right now. Hopefully, the Lakers can surprise people and show some fight. They dont have to be one of the best teams, just be a team with promise that fights every night.

So, ummmm...Fisher sticking with Keenum.

I guess fans see it differently. I wanted Keenum to throw more and throw deeper because I felt defenses were just keying in on the runs and screen passes. The last three games Case has started off throwing well but it just seems like once the defense starts making adjustments he (or Boras) can't make their own adjustments.

Hopefully, management will make a change at coach before throwing away multiple draft picks.

The thing that's so stupid is that he didn't even have to answer the question at all. Could have given a cliche "I'm not going to make any decisions right now, especially after a loss. Need to look at the tape and re-evaluate, etc."

The Rams tickets sold out in minutes and the stadium was pretty full, so even if there isn't a super large fanbase, there is enough that keeps the NFL coming back. I'd imagine a lot of that was built when the NFL did their NFL Europe experiment.

After that 3-1 start, we're promptly on our way to a 7 win season.

Wasn't all impressed with the 3 wins that could have EASILY been losses. You can't expect to scrape by and hope the ball bounces your way every single game in this league. Eff you, Fisher. Such a smug pos. He and Byron belong together.

My question is this: How as Goff looked in practice? I realize practices are only briefly open to outside eyes, but is there any feel on how Goff looks?

I'm conservative when it comes to QBs, in that I think most of them need to carry a clipboard for most (if not all) of their first season. But when your starting QB is playing like Casey Kasem, it is time to get Goff's feet wet.

Quote:
NFL Network's Steve Wyche reported during the week that Goff has taken significant strides in practice since Week 1, and the team is ready to increase his practice reps starting with the Rams' upcoming bye. That's a sign the Rams are feeling optimistic about Goff behind the scenes, and they recognize developing their quarterback is a crucial component to their season. They just refuse to commit to that development like the Giants did back when they elevated Eli Manning as a rookie in 2004.

That's why I've been hoping for a blowout win. Heck, I'd settle for a blowout loss just so Goff can get in the game and take some snaps.

That last pass was comedic gold. Keenum seems like a real swell guy but it's time to cut ties and face the reality of what this season was destined to become.

I believe the last pass was the one Fisher mentioned that Quick missed the audible.
