If the losing wasnt bad enough, now Fisher has gone and fractured relations with Rams royalty in Eric Dickerson.
There will be some fallout from this mess.
What happened?
I really enjoyed those pre-season games with Dickerson and Faulk as analysts. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant
I caught the end of his phone call into Good Day LA, he said he has his integrity and that you probably won't be seeing him on the sidelines of the Rams games anytime soon. Obviously somebody in the organization changed their story to make him look like the bad guy.
Guess it was Jeff Fisher who told him that.....
I remember one of the local sportscasters was saying that Jeff Fisher would never make it to the new stadium's opening....with him burning bridges with one of the Rams legends, this is just the beginning of the end.
I guess #29 can't express his opinion on his former team. A real bad look for the Rams.
My guess is that you can get away with this in St. Louis, but you're in a fish bowl in Los Angeles. _________________ Lakers | Dodgers | ACFC | COYS | LA Kings | Rams
Classic......Stephen A. Smith at his best.
BTW Jeff Fisher is an LA native....kinda dumb to get into a verbal altercation with one of the most well known LA football legends.

What had Dickerson been saying about the team and coaches? The reporting insinuates that Fisher's position came after public comments made by Dickerson, but it never provides description.
Dickerson is one of my favorite all time players, and I am not or never been a Rams team fan, but if he is in the media bashing current coaches and players, I get why Fisher or the team would take the position. Not only that, but he come off a little as a "diva" running to the media to tell on the Rams for not providing him and his friends special free passes for simply being the great Eric Dickerson who last suited up for the team when Reagan was POTUS.

Eric Dickerson works in the media business now. He has his own radio show. He is blunt but tells it like it is. I think unlike the other famous Rams like Jackie Slater, Vince Ferragamo, or Jim Everett, he doesn't hold back. Also with the format of the show, it being on radio he can say things he couldn't say otherwise on TV. Maybe Eric is being rough in his criticism, but lets face it this current team and coaching staff are doing a horrible job going back to the St Louis days and it doesn't look to be changing anytime soon. With the talent on this team no way they should be 4-7, and with the schedule ahead, they might win at most 1 game vs the 49ers. I think a lot of people have realistic expectations of this team, they aren't expecting them to go the playoffs, but you gotta give them something to look forward to. 7-9 or 8-8 is a lot better to stomach than going potentially 4-12 or 5-11....

Any negative press towards Fisher as we head into the final weeks is a good thing IMO. We're playing the Pats in Foxborough on Sunday. No one expected us to win that game but you know the media is going to seize on the negative things Dickerson said to pile on to the loss. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. On the bright side, signs of life from Goff were very a much needed breath of hope.
Fisher seems to be afflicted with that Byron Scott myopic pride.
The parallels are fascinating. Hopefully, the Rams make the same kind of move the Lakers have.
So this means that the Rams have to hire a recently-retired former Ram player who isn't such a hard-ass and someone who is well-liked by players and who is innovative offensively. Kurt Warner will be the next Rams head coach.

And when they do decide to go for it on a 4th and 1... they run Gurley up the middle on an OBVIOUS running play. They get stuffed and turn it over on downs. Pathetic.
They pitched it out ONCE to Gurley and he gained about 7-8 yards. Can Fisher please stop trying to pound Gurley between the tackles all the damn time???!!! FFS. The Rams even did that same shtt with Stephen Jackson. Get him to the outside once in a while.
“I’ve been impressed with Brandon and what he’s done out of the backfield. You’ve got to deal with him, in addition to Danny. You’ve just got playmakers all around, so we have to play sound defense.”
Brandon Bolden is the only logical explanation about who he might be talking about, and you have to wonder what games Fisher has been watching. Bolden hasn’t had a carry since Week 1 in Arizona and hasn’t had a reception since Week 4 against the Bills.
As for Danny, unless he’s talking about Amendola, who isn’t exactly a threat out of the backfield, he may not have gotten the memo that former Patriot Danny Woodhead has been a San Diego Charger for several years now.
Rams are dreadful....not only is the LA market ratings for the Raiders games higher than the Rams, but the Rams games scored lower ratings than Broncos-Chiefs, and USC vs Notre Dame over the weekend.

At this point, I might tempted to take an ex-Ram equipment manager. _________________ We back.

i'd take Warner over the Byron Scott clone any day. Warner not only was an excellent QB, he was clutch and a great leader on those Ram and Cardinal teams.
