Randle is starting. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Lakers vs Rockets Preview: Let the Young Guys Eat
Quote: | Julius Randle is going to be the biggest beneficiary for the Lakers because of these injuries. With Nance out, Randle will likely slot into the starting lineup in a potentially favorable matchup against the Rockets’ notoriously lackluster power forwards on the defensive end. Moreover, Anthony Brown should be able to slot in for Kobe if Bryant doesn’t play and be put in an interesting position where we might see how he would fare against James Harden. The same can be said for Tarik Black coming off of the bench again and defending Dwight Howard (if Howard plays). |

Without Nance tonight you would think they would both play. But yeah, with Byron you're probably right. |

I like the avatar Tri Offense
There are not many teams in the league I actually dislike. Boston and Houston top that list. Please no repeat of the lackluster effort we saw against Utah. Let's see if the Lakers come out with an edge this time...
Sucks Nance is out, hope he's good to go after the rest.
I'm hoping Randle sets at least one hard pick this game, and actually rolls to the basket now and then. And eats them alive on rebounds and loose balls. Make the most of the starting nod Julius! |

Supposedly Dwight is actually playing? I'm surprised. Usually any time a guy is questionable against the Lakers they sit out. It also seems like Dwight has missed the Lakers games more often than not since he played here. |

Julius is going to absolutely BULLDOZE Beverly or Terry on a charging foul tonight. I say, get your money's worth, lay'em out flat |

I assUme the regular sequence of events tonight?
- Hibbert loses the jump
- our 1st offensive set, the ball goes to Hibbert at the top of the key
- Hibbert takes our first shot
- a few plays later, DOWN GOES HIBBERT!!! |
