51 wins? This team can't even get 5 games over .500. At this point it would be a miracle if they held onto the 8 seed.

51 is bit ambitious wouldn't you say? I pray that we do get that, but it doesn't look good right now.

even at full stregnth we arent that good, at best we will be 45-37. guessing will be good for 7th or 8th, either way it will be a first round exit

The lakers losing brings tears to my eyes.... There like a member of the family and seeing them struggle just pains me.

I know its not Kobe, its the rest of the team that is horrible why wont Mitch Or Buss do something!!!? are they really gonna blow off another season just to get cap room?

Somehow I wish this is all a bad dream!!!! and Jerry West is still GM

Dude we can't even get to 5 games over .500. If we can just get to 6 games over .500 at some point this year I think I'd nut myself.

As long as we don't end up being the 11th-14th worst team in the league.

That would suck.

It's top 10 protected, I believe. So, we could potentially not make the playoffs, be in the lottery and not have a pick.

It is top-ten protected.

If we have the 11th-14th picks we are out of the playoffs and we don't get that pick.

If we are 10th worse we are in the lottery.

1. Charlotte Adam Morrison 6-8 220 SF Gonzaga Jr.
2. AtlantaLaMarcus Aldridge 6-11 245 PF Tex. So.
3. *Toronto Andrea Bargnani 6-11 240 PF Italy 1985
4. *Chicago Tyrus Thomas 6-9 218 PF LSU Fr.
5. Houston Rudy Gay 6-8 220 SF UConn So. 35.
6. Portland Rodney Carney 6-7 205 SF Memphis Sr.
7. *Boston JJ Redick 6-4 190 SG Duke Sr.
8. Sacramento Shelden Williams 6-9 250 PF Duke Sr.
9. Seattle Shawne Williams 6-9 225 SF Memphis Fr.
10. Orlando Ronnie Brewer 6-7 217 SG Arkansas Jr.
11. Chicago Rajon Rondo 6-2 171 PG Kentucky So.

Strengths: A lightning quick point guard with the ability to penetrate seemingliy at will. Has incredible body control and takes the ball to the basket and finishes exceptionally well for a PG. He has a scorers mentality, but also passes the ball well especially on the dribble drive. Owns great ball handling skills which become lethal combined with his quickness. Many people thought he was the best player on his high school team that included Josh Smith (drafted 17th by Atlanta Hawks in 2004). He has progressed into a solid shooter, that combined with his quickness has made him a very difficult player to defend.

Weaknesses: Still must develop a better basketball understanding. Could stand to put on some weight and add some muscle mass. His outside shot has become better but with improvement in this area, defenders will have to respect that facet of his game which will make it impossible to keep him from getting into the lane. Still must become more under control as he can become erratic at times. His defense still must improve. Must learn to be a complete point guard with the ability to dictate the tempo and get everyone involved.

Notes: Had 55 points and 17 assists in a game in a tournament in Europe for Oak Hill Academy. He also set the school record at Oak hill with 27 assist then followed that performance up by breaking his own record with 31 assist

Yay, lets tank for a top-10 pick

I like Rondo too, but most mediocre teams (hi there) have a slump or two
in any given season.

This is our most pronounced 3-game slide of the season, and by the end
of the season may be what we look back at as our "slump" - but it's way too early to start thinking lotto. This team has overperformed most of the
season. Three (very) bad games is not enough, especially given our
injuries and the road-trip, to write them team off like that.
