Clearly they pissed they can't compete with the top west teams.

But this won't fix it.

Interesting. I didn't find this surprising at all. He seems only moderately connected to his team and I never got the impression LeBron fully backed him.

that warrior loss really hurt them. but a overreaction.

They're something like 14-2 in their last 16 games

Depends on how you define "well". They can't beat the top western conference teams and probably have no shot at the title as they are in their current form barring injuries to the Warriors or Spurs.
Also Blatt gets fired for the Cavs form while Byron is still safe at his current job just shows the difference in burden of expectations.
Lets face it, Cavs can't compete with the top western conference teams unless they remake their roster with better defenders and 3 point shooters.

Lue got promoted and signed a 3-yr deal! That was quick!

Lebron gave every indication that he didn't respect him. Blatt never had a chance.

If Cavs and Warriors meet again, it'd be ex-Phil player vs. ex-Phil player in the HC spots.

All last season, Realcavsfans message board were saying how Lou was always Lebron's guy. Not surprised this happened in the least.

That's what happens when you have someone like Gilbert influencing the culture of the team and franchise vs a Pat Riley. In Miami they much of the same issues Cavs have had the 1st two years, yet they stuck with Spo. They won a ring that 2nd year - and that Heat team was better than this Cavs team.

So to fire this guy, IMO, shows the weak sauce and lack of culture within the team. But Blatt didn't get fired because of LBJ alone IMO. He's had issues with Love far more than Lebron. Blatt and Love have never been on the same page and he's called out Love many times in the press. Lebron will always be super diva - but this exact same thing could have happened in Miami had Pat Riley not been in charge. Seems Gilbert hasn't learned a damn thing. You don't let inmates run the asylum, Dan.

Not with Kerr coming back the last game.

It will be hilarious if LBJ doesn't win a title in Cleveland. I think the Warriors or Spurs will have something to say about that considering which team makes it out of the west.

Something had to change because it clearly isn't Lebron's fault.
